Abbasid Might be NEW S-Tier Civ in AOE4...

I am abba main and would nit say its stier. Its a stable civ but its also more map dependent then others. I usually dont make farms that early, prefer to het outside berries and deer. But not to forget, that japan usually also dont go out of theur base, they upgrade their tc and get a frazy fsrm eco plus the defensive bonus - japan is more ose to english in my opinion when it comes to game style. Once you finally upgraded your TC, its very difficult to push in with serious amount if siege. Meanwhile abba has no defensive landmarks ornatC upgrades and the castles are more or less useless against the usually armored comb if japan.

I'm sorry but it's cringe that players use the argument that they have 50% cheaper villagers as a broken thing now as if it wasn't in the game since release and had nothing to do with their buffs. Guess every playerbase on this world has the same problem, happens in LoL all the time.

i mean its just the combination of things that made it op cheaper vils cheaper tcs cheaper farms often means you can build multiple tcs and accelerate your econ much faster than other civs. cheaper vils makes them super easy to pump out and its less of a food investment so u can build millitary on top of it or max greed with 4 tcs. cheaper tcs means you can actually get 4 tcs to abuse the cheaper vils and the cheaper farms means you have a safe source of food to produce said cheap vils. they really only need to nerf one aspect of it to add some sort of vulnerability so you can actually disrupt it.

kill 2nd tcs, scout berry bushes and harrass food/wood over gold.

Feudal aggro, pressure food and wood, prepare ram and kill 2nd TC/3rd TC before 11min/14min mark. Always kill vills when they ascape from 2nd TC garrison first. Those extra vills are the point of 2TC

It’s probably because of how he committed to the fight. The idea being make both armies small enough that you can age without getting overrun while you slowly build up army again. Just a gamesense thing

Nothing. Calling it the new English is weird as well. As English you can rely on static defenses, the reason Abbasid is so good to Beasty is because his army movement was on point the entire time. Without that it's really hard to defend. Against a civ that immediately goes out on the map and eats all the deer it shouldn't be that strong. The Mongol player he played here had a winrate of 51% and there was an Elo dif of 730+. So you can't learn anything from that game.
