Oh that tower that Chelsee danced her Shrek jive with Pasha! Abbey may not have any dance experience pre Strictly so her constant gapping while doing ballroom dances (even till the finals when she won) was a distraction. This time, I was a little disappointed that she still had gapping, which showed she wasn't completely following her male dancing pro's lead. Having said that, it's not because she has a weak core, because she clearly showed she's capable of NOT gapping. But with Brendan, after only having a week's worth of rehearsal with Abbey, this was one dance that she gapped THE LEAST. So well done there. An 8.5, possibly a nine dance, based on other excellent techniques, especially the topline and the flow. I can't really say much about the footwork as the long dress and the camera angles meant I didn't actually see any heel leads done, not once. The other problem I had of this number was that it was a 4/4 time signature, so not a traditional 3/4 waltz time signature, and without the prominent rise and fall, I would have thought this look more like a slow foxtrot...

Lee Cox Bizarrely, it really showed Brendan's skill as a choreographer, the rise and fall, all the movements and figures are still distinctly waltz. He held on the third and fourth beat, making the last two beats as one, almost like dancing a rumba, and somehow still make Abbey look stunning in the routine...
