Then you would really like Trentham estate gardens! It has better gardens in my opinion, plus a huge lake you can boat on, a miniature railway and monkey enclosure. I highly recommend it! Actually, I also recommend Chatsworth estate and Lyme Park estate too. Their gardens aren't as magnificent as Trentham, but they have grand stately homes you can visit, which are also excellent, and moorland with Red deer in the case of Lyme Park and stunning grounds at Chatsworth. Actually, I forgot about the rockery/grotto at Chatsworth, that is amazing!

This is a lovely little garden and I didn't get lost when I visited! I have no sense of direction (it's a girl thing) and I often miss things in the bigger gardens as I end up seeing the same areas. My brother goes quite often to Abbeywood as he likes it too. Isn't the house impressive?

It's nice and compact and easy to navigate isn't it? It's always a lovely place to visit at any time of year. We love the cafe too as you know Wendy. The house is very grand but we'd settle for a small gardeners house on the estate so we could look after the garden! Take care xxxx
