That Cerave sunscreen is a staple for me! I have rosacea and it doesn’t bother me a bit. In the event that it does react with someone’s skin, use it on your neck and chest. I’m totally ok with the spf 30 and I don’t obsess over it not being a 50. Love your content 👌

SPF 50 only gives maybe 1 or 2 % more protection than SPF 30 so it’s not really a big deal for me either. I’m trying this for the first time today! 😎☀️

The Cetaphil moisturizer includes 3 comedogenic ingredients. Just keep that in mind if u suffer from acne .. if not, patch test and go for it!

That cerave sunscreen burns the living shit out of my eyes 😔. I have figured that either homosalate and/or octocrylene are the UV filters that make my eyes melt lol. Most Asian sunscreens don't use these filters thankfully

I just purchased the Cetaphil Oil Free Hydrating moisturizer and I recommend it to anyone with combination skin who gets oily in humid summertime. My skin explodes with oil in the humid St. Louis summers, and the last thing I need is a moisturizer loaded with emollients like squalane or heavy occclusives like dimethicones for daytime. A lot of "light" moisturizers and gel creams that might be good for nighttime feel awful during the day. The oil free Cetaphil works great and didn't feel like I'm wearing foundation under my sunscreen.

I have used the Cerave AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with Sunscreen and it’s too thick and feels heavy on my face. It also peels and flakes off. I have dry skin and it was too much for me. I recently bought Cerave Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion and I love it! My face feels so silky smooth and it’s not heavy. I do have dry skin so I have to apply a separate moisturizer first but other than that I love it! Thanks for your video! 💕.

I've been using the Good Molecules cleansing balm for the past two weeks and I like it! I LOVE Farmacy's green clean but IMO it's too expensive for how often I go through it. I am really liking the good molecules one and, for me and my budget, it's at a more accessible price point. Easily gets my makeup and sunscreen off without stripping my skin or needing to scrub.

I use Buffet + Copper Peptides under my Curology tretinoin cream to minimize the flakiness tretinoin can cause. I use a heavier moisturizer over the tretinoin cream to discourage dryness.

Interesting. I'm on my third bottle of The Ordinary Buffet + Copper Peptides, and I have never noticed a smell. I even paused the video, opened the bottle, and sniffed directly. I detected the slightest anticeptic ("doctor's office") smell. I'm interested in trying the Good Molecules cleansing balm. I've used Clinique's for years. Every time I try something else, I end up coming back to it.

I have super sensitive skin and tried the good molecules cleansing balm it completely disagreed with my skin and i broke out in dry patches and irritation most likely because of the citric acid so just something to watch out for! I love the inkeylist oat cleansing balm it always nourishes my skin and is super gentle!

I've used the Cerave moisturizing SPF before but found it made my skin more oily than it already is. I find myself these days staying away from most of their products.. only Cerave I use now is their SA Skin Smoothing cleanser. Definitely looking for something that's better for very sensitive skin/ irritated skin. I also use the Inky list Brighten-i eye cream, its really nice. I love the cooling effects it gives from the applicator. as for the other products you mentioned id be interested in trying them all too.

I just bought my second tube of the Cerave ultra light this weekend! I finished it up and tried another sunscreen I used to love and it just didn’t do it for me anymore haha! I have dry skin and use this as a sunscreen rather than a moisturizer.

I love two underrated sunscreens for my sensitive, can't do chemical filters skin: the Cerave Hydrating Sunscreen Face Sheer Tint and the Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer with sunscreen. It isn't moisturizing enough, but I need the protection.

So I would love to see if you have tried or considered trying Curlsmith bond salve or whatever it is. I have tried Olaplex for the past couple years and I kept thinking it would be noticeable the next time…but it never happened. I just used the Curlsmith one today and holy cow my hair feels so good afterwards. I have really thick coarse hair with wave/curl so I’m like the opposite end of the spectrum for hair type from yours but I’m so impressed by it! I went for hair appointment today too and my stylist said I sorta have white girl hair today. Like the kind that moves when I am in the breeze. Usually my hair is just like a thick wool cap year round 😂

I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I am so confused right now. I had to pause the video and go grab my Ordinary buffet + copper peptide serum and take a big long wiff. I have been using it for almost 2 years (morning and night) and have purchased about 5 bottles. I have an extremely strong sense of smell and have never noticed a smell before. So I just went to smell it and it is odorless. I smelled it from the bottle. I dropped some in my hand and brought it right up to my nose. There was a very slight smell (like ever so slightly metallic like a penny) but nothing bad at all. Is this your first bottle? I’m wondering if something is off with yours. I even went to read reviews and people say it is odorless with the exception of several people who got a fake product. They said it smelled bad and wasn’t genuine. If you got it from Amazon and it has a scent I am going to say that it is not the genuine product. If you got it from somewhere else there is definitely something wrong with it.

I also LOVE that Cerave sunscreen and don’t understand why I don’t hear about it more often. I hope they never discontinue it… It’s such a gem. Also do you have thoughts on the DRMTLGY Hydration Booster? It looks like it was reformulated at some point with peptides. It has a lot that I want - soy, ceramides, peptides, hydration - but that’s another one I can’t find much consumer info on.

I think most influencers are focused on SPF 50 sunscreens and ignore any less. Interesting enough, the FDA recommends a minimum SPF 15 and AAD recommends choosing a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

I love the CeraVe sunscreen AND I wish it was SPF 50, too…and water-resistant…oh, and it stings my eyes, so I have to put on a mineral sunscreen around my eyes in addition to it. 😑

I'm going to try the inkey list eye cream. I've had it in my cart for awhile but this review gave me that push to get it! Also trying good molecules cleansing calm..wish it came in a tube like the inkey list oat cleansing balm. I love that one and the fact it's in a tube, but notice sometimes it can be hard to wash it off.

I’m so sad the cetaphil gentle clear moisturizer didn’t work for me :( it broke me out. At first I thought it might be my monthly curse, but even then I don’t usually break out. I’m 29 so my skin is fairly clear these days, I just get a few here and there so I thought the .05 percent would be great to add to my routine. Even after breaking out quite a bit, I continued using it to see if it really was the moisturizer or just a fluke… about 3 weeks later and still the troublesome skin. Back to the old routine I go!

My skin likes BHA because it helps my acne so much. However my skin is dry so BHA can make it too dry. Are there any products with BHA but that are made for dry skin? I know lactic acid is better for dry skin but it doesn't help my breakouts.
