It looks like the Black Opium you have is the Illicit Green version that has a fig note. Also I think your Alien Goddess may be the Supra Florale. It gets confusing with so many flankers

hahaha it just hit me while filming that they all have personalities 😂ohhh yes ok so I'd say I usually pick one of the mists depending on what type of mood I'm in to layer with something like Juliette has a gun, YSL, etc. I like doing it with any perfume that doesn't have a ton of sweetness or vanilla to it by itself to just add a bit of those elements to it! So like Phlur Vanilla Skin + YSL black opium or Juliette has a gun + Sol de Janeiro. I think it's fun to play around and see how they mesh on your skin!

I bought the Phlur Vanilla Skin back when you first talked about it around VIB sale time. It's my favorite scent now! I will try almost any fragrance that highlights vanilla. I love that it's a more elevated sophisticated vanilla vs. a traditional vanilla mist. Now I have even more to try!

You definitely need to try commodity milk, the expressive version. It’s soooo good!! We have the same taste in fragrance and it’s one of my favorites of not favorite. Princess is similar, so since you love that (also one of my favorites) you will LOVE milk!

Fragrance is such a personal thing. I never liked really strong perfumes. I definitely love some of the ones by Philosophy- Pure Grace, Amazing Grace. Perfumes by Tova Borgnine- Tova, Tova Nights, Body Mind & Spirit. Some by Demeter- Lemon & Baby Powder scent. The ones by CLEAN- Clean Ultimate. Heavy fragrances are like man repellent. You also have to consider that they will probably smell way different on your skin, from out of the bottle. I also shy away from the ones that have TOO MANY notes in it.❤

Love so many of these! If you have never checked out Dossier fragrance, I HIGHLY recommend them - they do designer impressions but they are dead on, have fantastic lasting power, and are 1/3 the price. It’s literally my entire fragrance collection at this point.

I highly recommend the NEST Madagascar Vanilla Perfume Oil! It has coconut base notes, and is similar to the Phlur Vanilla Skin but less woody, leaning slightly more baked goods. I know you also like coconut, so I think you’d really enjoy this one

Hi Abbey! Have you tried the perfumes Bianco Latte (by Giardini di Toscana) or Escapade Gourmande (by Maison Mataha)? They are super yummy, addictive, complex vanilla gourmand perfumes! Bianco Latte is like fluffy vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey. Escapade Gourmande is like a caramelized vanilla creme brulee!

I’m a yummy vanilla girl through and through but recently I’ve been wearing Dedcool’s “taunt”, it smells like you’ve just stepped out of the shower and used a vanilla body wash, so yummy and clean. It has a really close projection but it’s long lasting.

Love love LOVE all the recommendations. Haven’t tried any of the ones you listed, but my favorite perfume that I’ve tried thus far is Giorgio Armani My Way. Starts off floral, but dries down to an orange creamsicle, at least on me. And the wear time is amazing.

This is my second comment 😅 have you tried 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods before? I think it’s my ultimate cozy fragrance and the woody notes make it less sticky sweet without taking away any of the warmth. I’m definitely interested in checking out some of the other recommendations here, especially Alien

I might try to test out the Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere and the Mugler Alien Goddess. They sound like something I would like. I have Black Opium which I love. My all time favorite is Chanel Coco and then next is D&G Light Blue. I also love to wear body spray around the house. I usually use one right after I shower. I actually found one at CVS that I love so much. It is MixBar Vanilla Bourbon. I have the body spray and the perfume.

Omg! You hit my 2 every day ones! The og bum bum cream and then i spritz the Mugler Alien Goddess! Usually floral makes me smell like my grandma… but alien goddess doesn’t bring that out at alllllll! I love mixing tease crème cloud and bare, both from Victoria's Secret. The tease crème cloud smells like a warm vanilla dessert and bare is kind of a light powdery sandalwood. I have a similar perfume palette as you (I love the bum bum spray, by the fireplace, and coffee break) so maybe you'll like these. My favorite replica perfume is probably jazz club though, it's similar to by the fireplace but even better to me.

I know that the brand isn't super popular; but Clinique has a happy scent called cookie and kisses. It smells amazing. I layer it with the with the Philosophy fresh cream warm Cashmere. It smells so scrumptious

I love fragrances with jasmine and ginger. My favorite haircare lines complement my perfumes. I LOVE Kevin Murphy’s entire plumping range and the spicy, intoxicating fragrance lasts for days in my hair) - plus they are ridiculously high quality. I also love Eva NYC signature fragrance - they hair a hair & body mist that is the same spicy-jasmine goodness as the Eva NYC Therapy Session masque.

I think you would really love The Architects Club by Arquiste! It’s a warm vanilla-like perfume with a hint of lemon ish freshness. I can’t describe it very well, but I have Good Girl and Black Opium and I like The Architects Club even more than both of those. Also Commodity Gold is my go to for everyday activities.

You have to try Giardini di Toscana - Bianco Latte. The name is a little deceiving tho. Doesn't really smell like latte/coffee. I get compliments everytime I have it on and the scent lasts forever.

have you tried fragrance/perfume oils? they might be good for you for wearing around the house. I've been really enjoying vanilla musk and vanilla bean perfume oils. I have similar fragrance preferences to you, even though I'm sensitive to perfumes and am prone to migraines, so I tend to stick to lightly scented lotions or oils instead.

If I were to recommend some for you I think maybe if you're willing to splurge Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Gentle Fluidity Gold really plays into that soft vanilla aspect you mentioned liking. But whereas SDJ's 62 feels warm, this one borderline feels icy, which I personally love. Like this is probably what Elsa's ice castle smelled like. And also Kayla's Yum pistachio gelato.. despite its name it strikes that sweet spot that you mentioned on Carolina Herrera's Good Girl, it isn't too gourmand or sweet. But if Kayali's Yum Pistachio gelato is moderate, then SDJ's 71 is anything but moderate, the gourmand factor is straightforward so you've really got to be into that to enjoy 71.

I've loved Carolina Herrara perfumes since I was in college. In the Mugler Alien line, I like Absolu, which has unfortunately been discontinued. The 'Not a Perfume,' well I smell absolutely nothing with it, so can't bring myself to pay more than I spent on the samples (which I accidentally bought 2 of at that!). From Phlur, check out Phloria lotion from them. Really emollient and the smell is perfect for layering to feminize any fragrance that's a little too unisex for you. May also pair well with CH if you want to double down on the sweet floral from the gardenia and jasmine. As a perfume, I couldn't take Phloria, but for layering absolutely.
