I love the pillow talk eye quad and lipstick. It's no fuss, easy to use, and looks good with any outfit I wear. The quad is so beautiful and the shimmer topper is stunning. Everyone always asks what I'm wearing for eyeshadow and they think it's more complicated than just an eye-quad.

CT in general is top stuff. I like the brand. Was one of very few items i chose to repurchase when buying new makeup, because even though I'm enticed by the idea of trying all new stuff, those two items were well worth the purchase and I was very impressed by what they're supposed to do.

From CT I love their lipsticks, they have such a lovely formula. The UV primer is one thing I want to try as there aren't many primers with SPF, especially SPF 50. I'm not a fan of any of the blushes and don't use bronzers, although her shimmery eye shadows are gorgeous. I do prefer Natasha Denona and ABH for high end shadows though

I've never cared for CT. I just think you can find pretty much the same type products and similar or better quality for either less money or in a different brand. I can find a dupe for the Pillow Talk color from L'Oreal. There just doesn't seem to be anything truly remarkable that merits the price point.

Agreed. Some of the packaging is kinda pretty but I think it's one of the most underwhelming and overpriced brands I've ever seen. I have also heard from a couple different sources that the owner of the company is a snobby mean girl. Not interested in supporting that, personally. There are so many other great brands out there.

recently have been obsessed with dior face and body foundation. natural/matte finish that wears beautifully through the day. I use it all the way up to under my eyes and powder the under eyes and that has been working for me, i am over concealer under the eyes too!

The Nars Radiant Creamy Liquid Color Corrector is AMAZING at making dark circles disappear. It’s light weight and easy to blend. Plus, it does not create at all. HIGHLY recommend!

I swear by the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift for under the eyes! I’ve used it for 2 years now and nothing else compares. It’s super lightweight, doesn’t crease after setting, provides coverage, and brightens the under eyes. It’s expensive, but it goes on sale often so I buy a couple when it does.

i recently tried the fenty bright fix corrector in rose quartz as an alternative to concealer. i’m very fair and have intense blueness under my eye and it definitely helps cover that while not being heavy or cakey. i really recommend it!

I just bought Milani Super Charged Brightening Undereye Tint in pink rose (there is also a peach color). I am 69 and have very impressive dark circles, and I like this! Acts a little like an undereye primer. Definitely worth trying! And, of course, Milani is very affordable.

I've seen several comments mention this Milani product so I want to try it. My dark circles are genetic, I've always had them and I'm honestly at a point that I think I've embraced them as much as possible! It's So hard to find makeup that will actually counter the deep bluish purple under my eyes and not end up looking cakey or drying or irritating my eyes. It doesn't help that I'm not a full coverage makeup lover but I do like trying stuff in hope that one day I'll find something that works. I turned 40 this year so my expectations are getting higher while my dark circles just don't care! Lol I do like Cover FX power play concealer though I have to use a tiny amount with a very small brush then a good setting spray. I used to love the bare Minerals well rested eye brightening concealer to set and brighten and might repurchase that but I think countering the deep bruised look with color correction makes a big difference.

I have the magic serum, love it, eyeliner, love it and setting spray. With older dryer skin, i may try the first foundation and maybe a highlight. Thanks for a great review. The brand has caught my attention but I thought the colors were to light for my rich brown skin color but they have expanded their color range. I love the dewy look when I do wear foundation. Still wearing a mask a lot. Lots of Covid in Texas. I also have a Lip Luster which feels wonderful on the lips. Tried pillow talk after hearing so much about it.

LOVE your channel Abbey, I also tried the CT undereye colour corrector and it is waaaay too thick and heavy .. total disaster for me. I find the Lancome Teinte Idole concealer or the new Huda concealers AMAZING. Nothing will ever come close to either of these for me. I am 52, but thankfully I don't have hooded eyes, but I do have, of course, 'loose' eyelids and eye creases, and under eye hollows of a light-blue/purple colour, and both of these concealers mask all of these, no creasing .. if your leave them set and then brush out .. I even use them as eye-primers and for me they are perfect. In truth the Lancome is my Holy Grail, but the Huda is cheaper so sometimes it is my fall-back. Unless something really MAGIC comes out, then I won't be changing!!! xx

Abbey, thanks for this review 🙌 I have Hollywood Flawless foundation. At first it looks beautiful on the skin, but then it becomes oily. And this despite the fact that I have normal skin. Yes, many products are not bad, but there is a worthy and more budget-friendly alternative.

The contour wand is incredible! It’s very long lasting, so if it isn’t staying on your face, it may be due to your skins oil production or skin prep. It’s not meant to be a bronzer, so trying to apply it like a bronzer probably will look muddy. It’s intended to use it to contour and create shadow, then you add a bronzer as you feel the need to to warm up the look. That’s also why multiple shades for the contour aren’t really needed

I like CT products, but I do agree that her claims are over inflated. Also, her makeup tends to lean toward corals and peachy tones. I do love the magic cream. As for pricing it’s right on the lower end of luxury.

I succumbed to a few of her products. I do like them. The thing I loved especially was the powder. It really was phenomenal but I’m not in a position to be able to spend $$ on makeup right now. I absolutely hated the foundation. It was like paint. It even cracked like paint. I love the subtle color and beautiful finish of her lipsticks.

The shade Oyster Pearl eyes to mesmerize is a beautiful daily silver/taupe. I love it. I use the Magic cream even tho I hate how expensive it is! And I use the flawless filter in #2 as a highlighter.

I love the vanish away color corrector! I suggest you change to color medium! When you change to the color medium. That shade actually color corrects. Whether the color you purchased acts as a concealer! Plus I recommend that you use the thinnest layer of product!!!

I love the airbrush flawless filter setting powder but only under my eyes, funny that it creased on you as I am 52 and find that it is very blurring and hides my fine lines though maybe its the Lancome concealer I use under it. I also really love the cream bronzer also in medium and have liked some of the eye shadow quads.

I've only seriously gotten into makeup in the past two years and the CT eyeshadows have become a favorite. I searched high and low for basic nude colors that aren't super white or tinted with reds, purples, or gold. I can't tell you how many times I've bought a nude color and when I go to apply it, it has like a red tint.

The countour and highlighter wands have a twist closure on them. If not closed properly they will leak, but if you close them the products will not leak out.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned it, I’m late to the party. Color Corrector is meant to be applied only to the discoloration. You’re only supposed to use a tiny bit with a brush patted a little bit if you like with your finger to thin it out and then apply concealer of your choice.

I spent $400 all CT products . The only items I will keep buying and are a must are the Hollywood flawless filter , the air brush foundation(it’s ok) and and pressed setting powder and setting Spray ! Other than that not worth buying it repurchasing . The lipsticks are good but you can find better for cheaper price . FYI I recommend the Armani foundation better than CT😬

I have the same preferences as far as the natural not too glittery or metallic but more natural glow only I tan in tanning beds and have dry/dehydrated skin but all my makeup is Charlotte tilbury except my bronzer and under eye corrector, I highly recommend Bobbi brown for under eye but it’s the same price range as charlotte

I have both the rare beauty highlighter and the charlotte tilbury one. I have to say I was disappointed with the rare beauty one. It has a very oily slipping feel and it doesn't give that same wet glow that charlotte tilbury's does. So personally I find the CT one superior. That being said, other CT protects like the contour stick I wasn't much fan of, just like you said. the shade looks muddy.

I love the ct products, but I only really purchase what mua's use on my face. Except for the Flawless Filter primer. I do not like it and much prefer my ct prep to just be the magic cream. I also have normal-dry skin, and sometimes eczema flare-ups so the magic cream is a great base. If anyone were to buy ct always buy from their website. There are always bundles for a few dollars less than the regular price. You also rack up loyalty and get member bonuses, I have gotten 2 free full-size lipsticks, and 1 free midi gloss before.

this is such a good video, i got the beautiful skin foundation after liking a sample i got but i have been hesistant to get more products cause i am mostly a drugstore girlie. i think you left out the skincare but one thing i thought was super overrated after trying it was the magic cream, i just thought the fragrance was way too strong for me and it didn’t feel special. i am looking foward to getting more base products tho, if flawless filter wasnt sold out in my color all the time id like to get it, and maybe the bronzers or blushes! :)

So glad I came across your video. Great format and lots of information. I am going to purchase the Happy Kiss Balm. For me, CT is a mixed bag. I'm not a fan of their foundations. I much prefer Pat McGrath or Nars. CT foundations are a bit too thick for my liking and kind of greasy. I really like their powder products - flawless powder and bronzer and powder blushes. I don't like their cream blush - way too sticky. I like their lipsticks a lot, but at their price point, there a lot of equally good options and it just depends on finding the right color. I like the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks, MAC lipsticks (that are far less expensive, and Tom Ford lipsticks that have a great color selection as well as the Natasha Denona lipsticks. I really don't like their eyeshadow quads. The shimmers get hard pan although the matt colors work fine. I'd much rather buy the Christian Dior 5-color palettes which have a far better formula at a similar price point.

Have you tried the Milani super charged under eye tint in 110 Pink? I thankfully don't have dark under eye circles and have never found a concealer that works under my eyes anyway. But I do want just a little more brightness in that area. Its a thin formula that adds a little coverage and brightness.

I have the pillow talk lipstick and its okay but I just dont wear it enough. I love the filmstar duo. I use it when I travel as contour highlight and eyeshadow so that one for me was totally worth it. For my wedding I wore the mrs kisses lipstick color and omg it was perfection! I also have the contour wand and blush/highlight pink wand and those were used for my wedding day too. Everything except the walk of no shame eyeshadow palate and daring eyeshadow palate get put to regular use for me.
