Let's see, for Genshin: Character 1 is monologuing while standing with their arms to the side. Character 2 retorts and puts their hand on their chest. Character 1 waves hands as they explain. Character 2 points finger. Character 1 walks a little bit behind Character 2 so they can give the other that side eye anime talk. Meanwhile, Wuwa has better and more expressive dialogue. They don't just stand there with their hands to the side like a stick with the occasional handwave. They walk around. They move more. They make use of idle animations. Genshin's is better, my ass.

@@TheSamsXGaming I kinda love the idea of Abby being asleep most of the time. It’s only really out and about when actually necessary. For me, the reason why I hate paimon so much is that she is always the one talking and so much that the traveler hardly ever gets the chance to speak and paimon makes every piece of dialogue twice as long as it has to be by explaining everything that we already know. So far in the story all paimon has done is yap and freeload not contributing anything really other than that while Abby has a solid role in the story like absorbing the crownless, and what’s more, the Threnodian. If there was no paimon in genshin, I don’t see how much would even change story wise while without Abby rover would probably be dead. That’s my stance anyway.

Due to Abby's ability of eating Remnant energy , that thing is be always useful in most situations. There's a reason the Threnodian left the battlefield after Abby pop up, safe to assume it's not good to feed Abby too much as it will backfire against you

Abby using "I, Me, mine, and my" in their dialog is what makes them so much more tolerable than Paimon, who always uses their own name rather than "I, Me, my and mine" (this is just personal preference, but I HATE character that uses their own name when addressing themselves in first person dialog). Also, another bonus is that Abby (specifically the EN voice) has a raspy voice which makes them sound cute while at the same time unique since most small flying companions have the typical ear bleeding Kawaii voice. This applies to every language (although I actually really like Paimon's 1.0 voice since it sounded natural while the current one sounds like the VA is being choked while blowing a whistle). and yes, for me Abby wins also when compared to Pom Pom. He is just lucky that he does show up enough in the story of HSR cus he shares very similar qualities to Paimon that makes her so annoying.

Yeah personal preference, that raspy voice is something I hate, and makes me remember of Vex of League whose an intentional emo character. While the performance of Abby is okay there are times the lines and emotions are off which is due to the voice direction as 1.1 and 1.2 already have prerecorded voices before launch date. That raspy voice is just an actual response of players hating EN Paimon ear bleed. As you notice the Asian side especially in China which retains fully of what the intention is for Abby voice type. All of Abby's voices in Asian dubs aren't made to be ear bleeding while if you look at Paimon even in Asian dubs Hoyo is intentionally making her a yapper that will repeat everything because the game is intended for "kids". Kuro doesn't intend this game to appeal to a much younger audience

That's the most annoying thing about Genshin's Storytelling, and aside the crappy Rewards and dumb Updates noone asked for a Reason why I stopped playing Genshin after 3 Years and switched to Honkai Star Rail after 4.5 came out. Are you another paimon? Haha. No, she became a human form because she need to save her friend(human) long long time ago, she come to witch to do that. When her appearance as melusine, she got rejected. After being a human form, now she got accepted as doctor to save a human ill, included her friend as i told before But, for consequences to become human form, her friend forgotten all about Sigewinne while being friend. People saying they like abby because they are strong dont realize how that's actually, in reality, a bad thing. Paimon is the reason we can even have lore to begin with. Too many people act like she talks too much but when they don't even understand what's going on She makes it easier to understand everything but also stays out of fighting because it's not her place. Abby on the other hand is a deus ex machina machina... and completely takes you OUT of the moment and story as a whole. It'll appear at random and solve all of Rover's issues because....... just because. Dreamless attack? Instead of Rover dealing with it it was Abby. That was the first major mistake... then it has the attitude of morgana from P5 who acts like he's better than everyone and will continue to be the thing that helps 'unblock' the piss poor writting of the crew. Seriously, the story in Wuthering is already terrible as is. The fact that they had to introduce Abby as a deus ex machina machine to solve all of Rovers problems to help write themselves out of a corner shows how little they know how to write a good story... give me Paimon anyday... at least she doesn't do something to BREAK the story outright and stays within her limits where as this thing has no limits...

Explaining redundant stuff to the player like the game doesn't respect your intelligence, that's more of a mock or a deliberate show of the game is intended for younger audience. That alone frustrates people. Abby is part of the Rover and have a story relevance. It doesn't solve most problems her role in 1.1 is minor . Take note in Act 6 the Threnodian kept reviving the Dreamless even if the Rover absorb some energy in it. What Abby did is what Rover did just ate an energy blast nothing too grand.

Writing an entire essay about a obvious biased opinion that isn’t even a fact sounds like next level hating to me lol. I’ve played genshin since launch and recently left for wuwa. Why? Cause genshin is trash. The devs don’t listen, weapon banner system is a scam, story lore takes 10 years to progress, plus. As cute as paimon is, she’s useless af and does all the talking making our mc seem like a side character that doesn’t talk. Not to mention repetitive limited boring end game content on top of that. If you want to stay in genshin you do you but don’t point out your biased opinion as if it’s a fact lol

You obviously didnt read the story very well or maybe you hit the skip button. But its been trying to show you Rovers done shit in the past. Even in the begining she defeats Crownless. Even in the Dreamless fight, she didnt loose, she only moved to protect Jiyan from the energy blast while he was wounded, Thats when Abby showed up and ate it. So if you paid attention to the story, Rover is very capabile on her own.. or his own depending who you went with. Then other two instantances where she fended off Scar, and turn the tables on Camiylla. So what exactly are you upset with ? Go play Lost ark, then you can complain how everyone steals your momement.

For me its fine, i looking both of game because Quest and Puzzle. About the NPC or companion, its okay as long as have good story. But, i feel, WuWa has strong Story at first, i am really curious how they follow the story next.

I would say it was ripped straight off of genshin if Abby acted the same way as Paimon but she doesn’t and that literally just makes her a mascot.
