Kuya is a term of respect that you use to call an older brother. Respect in Filipino is respeto. We often use “kuya” to refer to males who are non-relatives (often older) to establish rapport because it’s like you’re treating him like part of the family, an older brother.

It failed to be the surfers paradise honestly, Mentawai Islands of Indonesia is the true surfers paradise. They strictly limit the influx by put US$128 per-15 days surfing tax. Anyway, not every place has that luxury to put that kind of surf tax tho, you need superb beaches and superb waves first. Siargao would be empty if trying to put similar surfing tax. 😊😊😊

Mayon in Cagsawa, Albay, City of Legaspi. Try to rent an ATV and go to the foot of the volcano the color of the soil is black. It’s safe you will be escorted by the tour guide. One of the best experiences I’ve had🙂

Oh you should have taken that boat ride in Maasin River. It takes you to a crystal clear pool at the end they call the hidden lagoon. I don't think a lot of people know that. It is an absolute wonderful opportunity for a photo shoot. And you have to go back to Magpupungko during the low-tide to see the beautiful pools. You can jump off rocks there too. Enjoy our Philippines!!!

Bacolod city has Maskara festival this month of October. Maybe you want to check it out. You may do side trips to patag silay, silay city, carbin reef in sagay city, etc...all in Negros Occidental.

In Lockdown time and after it I saw Siargao as it was many years ago - mostly local people, without crowds, calm and peaceful, that vibe is hard to catch anywhere.. I remeber was sitting in cloud 9, at the morning, alone with fresh coconut and just watching waves.. Amaizng. Sometimes walk / drove with my gf around the island.. That was world class remote pacific island vibe.

Hi.abby and Gaz..amazing adventures to different beautiful white sand beaches with your friends,to know each other's..but you I suggest you visit the surigao sohotone cove the greenery and many lagoons and thousands of jellyfish,blue waters it is near there side of siargao,just ask the locals how to go there I think with boat..siargao in surigao is the best to visit many foreigners also in surigao..what u waiting for try it now..👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭..

Great Video, this kuya cant wait to buy some travel insurance and stop by in case I have injury mishap. I love to both surf and scooter around. On this round, I will avoid the alcohol so I dont crash like on my last scuba trip. Scooters are lots of fun.

For Tawi Tawi, just advise dress a liitle.more conservatively. My Muslim cousins are well- conservative (I'm ancestrally from Mindanao). Other than that, Abby and friends are in for culinary treat. The food is delightfully more spicy- Sulu history. The food names change- noodles there no longer Pancit but called Mee Goreng. Yes, you will see and taste Malay spectrum. I think another local dish is spicy Beef Tausug (curry). We say masarap, when food is tasty. My cousins there are also great catamaran shipwrights. Your bloke travelmates may appreciate that being from UK. Like England, there once was royal family there Sultanate of Sulu. It borders Malaysia- Sultanate of Brunei. Maybe you saw Erwan Heussaf vlog FEATR, you can reconnoiter more about Sulu. I believe the vlog won an award.
