Wow one of the most challenging bass lines I have heard actually inspired me to play bass but I never knew exactly how to do it. It looks like you're playing a fretless bass as the slides are absolutely amazing and really add to the song.

Why the whole step detuning of the D and G strings? The song is in the repertoire of the band I play for and I would like to add that harmonic slide, but honestly have no desire to detune/retune strings…
