SofiaCapricorn, it's soo bad that he don't have the same papper that he has on books. He's really funny and cool, also he's soo gay for Enjolras like a XIX characters could be (maybe more, it's a little weird imagine what the autor really thinks and how the people in time read it, since now being gay it's normal and he weird "passion" on Enjolras style and ideal looks A LOT like a crush)
@nickjohns12206 жыл бұрын
MaGy Actually his passion was pretty clear, I mean Grantaire was described as a person who doesn't believe in anything, hasn't any of real life principles, while Enjolras, on the contrary, had beliefs, ideas, thoughts and was unshakable. So as a weaker person Grantaire aspired to something stronger, inspired and morally stable (Enjolras), cause he himself hadn't any of these traits. It is normal for weak people without belief, they need a proof that there IS something great anyway.

Enjolras is based on a real historical figure who led the Friends of the ABC (no, that is NOT a joke. The movement in history is literally called the same as it is in the book and the musical). He is the leader here, and he's a student around twenty or twenty-one years old. Combeferre is the second-in-command, a student who serves as Enjolras' lieutenant. Courfeyrac is the third-in-command, but is a more prominent member of the Friends of the ABC. Feuilly is fourth-in-command, being also a student. Grantaire serves as the comic relief here, being the drunkard character. Joly is a student who is dissatisfied with King Louis-Philippe, embodying the ideas of changing lives. Jean Prouvaire is another student who dropped out of school in order to fight in the June Rebellion. He is the youngest, next to Gavroche, at only sixteen years old. L'Aigle, who appears later, is a Bonapartist who merely wishes to see the monarchy overthrown. Leglas is the oldest, and he is not even a student. He is a workman who is unhappy with being paid miniscule wages. Gavroche is easily the youngest, at nine years old. He is a carefree spirited street child who gives his own subtle point of view on the Revolution when he makes fun of Voltaire and Jean-Jacques Rousseau in his song, which sadly had that wit taken out when it was converted into "Little People." Marius... well, this song tells everything you need to know about him. He is loyal to the Friends of the ABC, but he is too distracted by love.
