Remember when Rankin-Bass holiday specials like this were on once a year on the three major networks, ABC, CBS and NBC? But in the 1980's, they stopped airing all these of these shows with the exception of RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER, FROSTY THE SNOW MAN and the NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
