Musically it's not that innovative, it's just that he's playing a lot of keyboard parts (as in things made on probably a MIDI controller into a DAW) on his guitar which can be quite challenging, as well as using a lot of octaves at once. Challenging to play, and fairly innovative in guitar technique, but from a purely musical standpoint it's pretty basic. Still cool af though.
@Tradewins4cash Жыл бұрын
@@settratheimperishable4093 With all due respect, he may have the guitar hooked up to a workstation, but there is zero keyboard effects on the guitar... maybe a little reverb. And there is NOTHING basic about his playing. I can hear and see hammering, pull-offs, string muting with his fingers and palm, harmonics, palm punching, hybrid picking, sweep picking... @@notbadforanoob8725 I mean, it's not THAT bad, it's just sort senselessly convoluted. Take out the busywork and there's really nothing of substance there. Moderately pleasant but of course it's nowhere even remotely near Jimmy Page's depth or thoughtfulness - hilariously he's been pretty vocal about the dismissing that stuff.

@@travisrameysadler9924Oh, cause you get mullets and dragon scales because of state-nationality. No one said it is nationality. It's surely an identity. You can be half-black half-asian, or half-Californian half-Nebraskan, or even half-potato half-corn XD. Great time to be pedantic. Chill bro.
@travisrameysadler9924 Жыл бұрын
@@OmateYayami you can't be half californian and half nebraskan unless you can live in two places at once... you don't get test results that show you are half Chinese half Texan... Also being Chinese isn't an identity... you either are or you aren't.

@pfizerpricehike9747 Жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s the worst part about being polyphia fan and guitarist, when you can finally play it they already released like 1-3 new difficult high quality tracks to learn And recorded a Hollywood grade music video to it in multiple locations while just on the side managing regular social media uploads, planing a Europe tour and recording and uploading making offs to the track Seems like these guys got like 48 hours available each day to work on stuff

Now take what you've learned and go write something of your own. That's what it's all about. That's exactly how this kid got to where he is why not copying everyone endlessly. At some point you have to take what you're learning and twist and mold it into your own creation.
