This made me cry a bit. I can't imagine what that would be like. Constantly in a fight with your own anatomy, it must be so hard.

Thankyou so much for putting your videos out there. It was a real eye opener and humbling experience to watch this. You should apply for partnership with KZbin, it could get your videos out there more.

Carly since my point of view your perception about people' beliefs disappointed you because it reflected to you a community reluctant to differences. As your father described you, you are an intelligent, emotive and articulate person who can perceive the world as the rest of people which is pretty obvious these days (above the fact that autism is just a condition). In the past you claimed for tolerance and acceptance by people, today I want to share my own beliefs and also, my admiration because of your strength to keep going.

I'm balling happiness 😭 I'm so happy for you and I am so happy you give a little voice to those who don't. I will follow and learn from you. Please reach out to chat if you want to. My son is on the spectrum he is 4 and I know how smart he is we just haven't been able to figure out communication for him yet as he struggles with speaking. We are currently using a device with the program LAMP on it to help and its so wonderful. I look forward to the days he's telling us jokes. He physically jokes with us (lots of sarcasm in his facial expressions at times)❤

"Could not communicate at all". That's a weird way of saying, "I won't even bother to learn autistic body language and facial expression." Friedemann Schulz von Thun said, "You cannot not communicate." That's true for everyone, including us autistics. We DO communicate. We just don't do it like you.
