"unfair to jersey" in his response is basically a NIMBY reaction. the idea for the policy was to offset the city congestion and pollution by de-incentivizing drivers with the "congestion" surcharge; there won't be a change of behavior of driving but it will move it elsewhere. i'm pretty sure more people commute from fort lee to nyc for business/work, as opposed to vice-versa. i am also sure that people who live in the city bear more of the costs (e.g., taxes for the streets, NYPD traffic patrol, noise in neighborhoods, etc.) but in any case, i suppose it's to each our own. lol

Why Fort Lee doesn't have a ferry service, to reduce traffic on GWB? There should a PATH train to get to the city.

Dam you are stupid! You actually think the MTA will use the funds for any good? They spent half a billion dollars on just installing the license plate readers! It’s ridiculous.
