Joan and Chock joined Ryan, Jen, and Gina on "Playing the Field" for a special bonus episode this week. The happy "golden" couple shared inside stories and behind-the-scenes tidbits about their time together on the show as they fell in love. So, when did they know? I applied to be on the show before the lockdowns. I told them I realized that I was out of their age range. However, they need to have a show for us older people because we need love too! Around 5-6 months went by and low & and behold, the "Senior edition" was announced, I couldn't believe it! But then covid and production came to a halt. Now post covid, and here we are! Sure, it could have been a coincidence. However, why did they keep the same format for all those years? And then months after I give them the idea they go and do it? Sure, we'll just say that, but I know this was all me! I don't want any money or fame, just maybe a thank you, and let you know that I am so happy that even though I did not get picked that I can help others find love, or at least hope. I explain all on my KZbin channel. So if anyone knows how to read body language. They will know that I am telling that absolute truth.

I knew it also!! I saw how he kissed her… & noticed that the other men didn’t seem to kiss her with serious passion! I wondered if they knew how to kiss… or if they just didn’t feel the passion. I saw…. I kept saying out loud to myself… they don’t know how to kiss… Then Chock kissed her… how I’d want to be kissed… & she kissed him back with equal passion… & I knew they were equal in passion & desire!

during the final rose ceremony it was just magical that this man loved her so much so quickly and that she loved him it was wonderful. And I wondered why all men can't be like Choc!❤ so happy for you both. But it was so confusing on why getting keys to a place in New York you know meant something because we never saw that on TV and it's like well what does that mean and why do they wanna go to New York? Am I the only one that was bothered by Chock comments about this is the "happiest days of hIs life, never been this past happy " . He made that statement many times..ect ect . What about his life with his dead wife? I founded him a little creepy. More of an actor. Why wasn't Joan questioning that? Good luck to her.

Maybe he loved his wife, but maybe she was not as special to him and maybe she was not as sweet and kind. Not everyone marries amazing people. Some can be hurtful and toxic. So maybe he married more into what he always wanted. And sounds like they were his deceased wife's kids so he does not need to hold back loving expression because of the sensitivity to his own children regarding their mother. It is a bit different.

He wasn't married to the woman he was with previously, but they were together for 8 years when she passed away. He said he loved her deeply. If you watched the show, you would have seen this. He's still very close with her father who was in one of the episodes, and he was also at the finale show. He gave Joan and Chock his blessing. He seemed to really like Joan.

Hi Ryan, Jen and Gina, at the end of your interview I heard you saying that you want to know the vacations that Joan and Chock are going on. I was listening to the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast and they talked about the trips they are taking next year. They are going to Africa, France, Caribbean and Spain. Also, Ryan, I know you were wondering how Chock got his name. Well, I was reading an article online by Glamour and they also asked Chock how he got his name and he said the same thing that he told you. That his Mom doesn't like Chuck so they named you Chick. I had to share that. 😊

Yeah! Me not so sure of Chock! He seems like he is going to be a bit much for her! Wichita, Kansas and she is from the east coast... I wish them well; but I do not see this lasting or them getting married by any means! I would rent an apartment together first before purchasing one together! I wish she would have chosen the Doctor! The fact that Chock was all over Joan the entire season was very odd. He was obsessed with her, when the other bachelors were taking things in stride. For Chock it seemed to be do or die that he win. He claims he has never felt like this before. Really you were engaged to a woman for 8 years who died! There is something very off about him in a possessive and rather desperate way. I think Joan made a mistake and I will not be surprised if it comes out at some point that they are over. She seemed so smitten with his over bearing attention and never saw any red flags. She was devastated by being rejected by Pascal, which was purely an ego thing for her. This entire show is fun to watch, but really unhealthy. And all I can say is poor Guy. He was far more genuine than Chock. But I think he jumped a shark!

@Andrea-q3z3y - It doesn't matter if the Judge denied it here is what was said about the good doctor - According to People, Gil's ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order against him about four months ago, accusing him of stalking. The woman claimed he made unwanted contact with her and her family and said that he would show up to places he knew she'd be to confront her. The reason producers didn't know about it is that he passed their background check before the restraining order was filed. In my opinion, I don't believe he would have been chosen if they knew.

I think that’s was why Joan also had her eyes set on Pascal, who seems to be very wealthy. However, I cannot say that I blame her, because she is at this point in her life, she is not about building wealth. She has her own home, and maybe her life is comfortable. Make sense for her to seek someone who is at her financial level or better. Whether or not they last, it’s up to them as they continue to learn about each other.

@@sylviasherman-pd7nf Of course she thinks that she is in love. However women must be also practical as they are in their into the 60s. As long as they share a common vision for their lives, and have interests in common, they should be fine. Life is different when couples don’t have the stress of child rearing, and trying to meet all financial obligations, and the hurly, burly of every day life. It makes sense for her to another stable income, to augment her own lifestyle. I’m totally supportive of her.
