Former convicts who lived on Flinders & nearby islands as sealers, arrived there mostly from NSW pre 1803. Convicts sent to Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) first started to arrive at Risdon Cove near Hobart from 1803.

It is sad because Tasmania is so fragmented and picked a part now.. when I visited, I was actually shocked to see the amount of logging and destruction, including mining. I’m such a small island.

Hi Matiuadex, you'll need to get in touch with the people that make those decisions at librarysales.abc@abc.net.au, but it's worth a try.
