For some reason, I get emotional when I hear the intro song , my eyes just well up in tears. It brings this 45 year old man to tears. I love Australia especially the country.

We have a programme in NZ called Country Calendar, been going since 1966 , still running on Sunday evenings . I think why it’s lasted so long is because it brings the Country into the townspeople. Who possibly have never experienced living and working on the land . So good luck to Land Line for the next decade. As farming way of life has now become very diverse.

Thank you Landline for bringing Australia and her people to me in the US of A! Seeing these peoples attitudes towards adversity, and triumph, is truly remarkable.

Landline's enduring success would have made my late god father Ken Watts who spent most of his career at the ABC. It's also the program I have missed most in my many years away from Australia and can't wait to get home later this year and to be able to watch it every Sunday. Thank you Landline.

My addiction to Landline!! I come from Borneo, grew up in a subsistent tiny farm. My first show was at Univeristy in Melbourne and the rest is history. My salute to the tenacity, innovativemness , inspiration of the farmers and of cource Landline team. Keep going for the next 100 years for humanity.

let me tell you ,the magic of the land grabs you .as a country kid that went off to the big smoke for 2ndry school ,we'd come home for holidays ,with the question "why the hell do they live out here ,in this godforsaken hellhole. then about 2 weeks later i remember the magic of the land hitting me over the head ,and i said ."i finally get it ". thanks auntie [ABC] for your incredible contribution to our way of life . and the mob at landline from the management to the reporters .you do an incredibly valuable job of caring and encouragement and telling their stories we're all in this together . one of the unique features i pick up from the reporting ,is the incredibly uplifting virtue ,is that you reporters really care ,and are using your gifts to help .and it's an apparent throughout your reporting .

I love this special, from Oregon backyard farmer here! I’m lucky so many farms are so close to me, we buy directly from them or the many farmers markets we have! We have a show in the US called America’s Heartland, which is very similar to the Landline show!

Cheers from Canada! I discovered Landline during the Pandemic lockdown and I'm hooked. Thank you to ABC for uploading these videos on KZbin. Talk about bringing the country to the city - these are stories I'd never hear about here in Vancouver. Fan for life and hope to see it for myself one day. Cheers :)

When I was a child Landline was already an established show on tv, since then I have seen a lot of goof information about our country on the show, but sadly I haven’t seen it since my children were born in the eighties, to busy I had 5 but also when they took out the old tv boxes I couldn’t work the new ones so I haven’t been part of the family since then. Congratulations on the show and good luck for the future.

Congratulations Landline great show and hope you can give us another thirty years Something I’d like to mention I’m 70 years old all my life I’ve heard from different governments about our very hard times of droubt They have said they were going to build some very large damns in the outback to catch the water we are blessed with every wet drain absolutely brilliant idea to get our land crops livestock and farmers on the front foot instead of not sure or worried what to do Get the bastards to commit and build them

Would be more inclusive to have some more stories that include a racial diversity. My family has been here 200 years since the First Fleet. I’m 7th Gen Aussie. Also half Chinese. Spent the last 50 years watching lots and lots of white people dominating TV. Other nationalities also worked this land and still do.
