The ‘King and Queen of the Mountain’ has been crowned after an historic ascent of the world’s smallest registered mountain in Wycheproof, Victoria.
With 60 kilograms of grain on their backs, mountaineers grappled with a punishing 44 metre ascent to summit the peak, which has stood unconquered since the historic race was last run in 1988.
