As an army who saw them win their first music show award, their first Korean daesang and now their first American daesang, I can honestly tell that all of this didn't happen just because, BTS earned it and this right here is rightfully deserved with even more. What hit me the most when I saw this was actually the moment when Suga and RM hugged each other first after the announcement. Both of them were the first two members to join BTS, they have been together for the longest, have gone through a lot and therefore understand each other the most. Making unimaginable history and success after a decade worth of hard work, I can only imagine the undescribable feelings that they must've had. It's just so special and really heartwarming.

I’m not a BTS fan (did not get the chance to check them out) but I’m certain their music is tonnes better than some of those nominees. ‘Butter’ was definitely the record of the year! Most of us enjoyed it and we heard it everywhere. By now we should all know the Grammys work on bribery and they struggle to acknowledge international artists. They need to fix their diversity issue firstly and be more transparent!

It's unfortunate that the grammys are possibly too lazy or unbothered about Korean music. They acknowledged BTS' English songs both years. Their Korean music are masterpieces but get overlooked by the academy. Maybe if BTS send gift baskets to the committee then they will get their wins and nominations ;)

I remember that time when I was a baby army still learning their names and in my recommendations I got a video that was talking about their story and all the hardships they’ve been through, and I watched it and ended up crying because I never really thought that that famous band called BTS I’ve heard about has gone through a lot since the beginning. I got so moved by how inspiring not only their songs are, but also their story as a group is, and even as individuals. I wish that people who only criticize them without really knowing the long path they had to walk to get to where they are now, would only take some time to really get to know their back story and how they went from being boys without hope, to becoming the hope of millions of people💜 They deserve all this and more.
