That's because a lot of their parents live off them, and they sometimes get (sexually) abused and stuff. I mean, what reason does a kid making millions have to listen to their parents when they (the kid) is paying all the bills? I'm glad they made that law, where a certain percentage had to be set aside and couldn't be touched by the parents.

Not to mention kids with millions of dollars didn’t exactly plan for the future. Happens a lot with professional athletes too and they’re adults. They live like kings spending all their money. When the body gets too old and worn out to play anymore, they don’t have any money left. Granted many of them have great second careers as tv broadcasters and end up making more money from that. Especially those older former players, the money wasn’t really huge until about the 1990s for players.
