Somebody, caused this. The FAA was being run by a DEI hire, a black woman who was NOT a pilot, AND with no aeronautical degrees. They may have replaced her by now when things were going wrong. We cannot have DEI hires in certain areas of technical know how. That's no time to learn on the job. It's bad enough that half our doctors are foreigners often with no clue. Having a non-pilotl woman running every airline in this country, is NOT ok. And it sure wasn't ok in Los Angeles fires.

TCAS-(Traffic collision avoidance systems) are not required on military aircraft. Tcas is smart, it will tell one pilot to pull up, and tell the other to descend. This is not the first time a military aircraft has collided with civilian aircraft mid-air because they do not require tcas on military aircraft...

Why is the military doing inflight training near an air port and in an urban area? When I was training in a helicopter in the Marines all our training was over jungle terrain and out in the wilderness.

WHOEVER PUT THEM ON THAT TRAINING MISSION SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THEY MAY BE SHORT STAFFED AT THAT AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AREA AND CHECKED WITH IT AHEAD OF TIME, ALERTING THEM THAT THERE WOULD BE A MILITARY TRAINING MISSION GOING ON. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE ASSUMED THERE WOULD BE ENOUGH STAFF TO HANDLE IT. IF U ASSUME ANYTHING, ASSUME THERE WON'T BE ENOUGH STAFF, AND FIGURE ACCORDINGLY. THAT SEEMS LIKE THE WORST PLACE TO HAVE A TRAINING MISSION. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? 😢
