Here's a simple way to look at it. If you don't want to be subjected to mafia rules and their way of life, don't get involved. Where I grew up there were people that got involved in that stuff... by choice. I never had to have any fear of the mafia because I stayed away from those guys. The idea that the mafia will go after everyone that you love because of your choices isn't accurate, it's actually against their rules. It's unfortunate that people were killed by the mafia. That being said, they were involved in that way of life.
@CommonCentrist822 жыл бұрын
@Hidden Aspects what would you like me to tell them? Did you reply to the wrong comment or something? All I said was that the mafia usually leaves civilians out of their business. What does that have to do with freemasonry?
@jackieboy39682 жыл бұрын
That was generally true, but it's an unfortunate reality that many people have been maimed and killed by the mafia, who had nothing to do with the mob life. Look at Gaspipe and Vic Amuso for starters. They killed the innocent architect who worked on Gaspipe's house, and also had two innocent garbage contractors killed because they wouldn't get in line. They also went after Pete Chiodo's sister and grandmother. Then there are the many cases of mistaken identity and hits gone wrong, e.g. see Colombo 2nd and 3rd wars; Roy De Meo killing an innocent vacuum cleaner salesman because he thought he was a hitman; Sammy Gravano killing an innocent teenager; etc. I get that the mafia have never traditionally gone after innocent family members of mobsters, and they have never generally been as brutal as, say, the Mexican cartels or Italian mafias, but they have terrorised and killed many innocent people who had nothing to do with mafia life.

I might be suspicious though & a guy at a factory would tell me right away if I said I suspected a counterfeit, so FBI ideally would work with experts in the factory.
