Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, who was once the second in command of the Gambino Crime Family, committed 19 mob murders, and cooperated with the Feds in 1991, which helped send mob boss John Gotti to prison for life. FOX 10's John Hook sat down with Gravano, in the first part of a two-part series on the infamous mobster.

The hard truth is that this is precisely why he became a "calebrity" while you walk this Earth anonymously. There are hundreds of millions of people like you out there, but only a handful of people that lived the mob life and are still alive to tell the story, and Sammy is a pretty good storyteller. Good or bad, he took the road less traveled, while you took the traditional one.

There's a difference between serial killer and mobsters. Serial killers kill alot of people just for their own satisfaction. This man, even though he's a rat and I don't blame him based off what gotti said about him, did more for his people and those that he was loyal to then you have ever done. You don't understand what a true brotherhood is. If you listen to his podcast and understand why he did what he did you would realize he's still better then the politicians that lead this country. This man is better then any Kardashian or other celebrity we have alive today.
@seanstoica6301
@seanstoica6301 3 жыл бұрын
@LeaveTheEstateTax Alone the politicians get away with the things you say they don't commit because they own the organizations that should investigate them. The FBI, NSA, and CIA do the same things the mafia did, except they do it all over the world and extort far more innocents then the mafia ever did.. Our own government is more crooked then the mafia ever was. I'm a a capitalist in its purest form. The murders the mob committed were predominantly against each other. It was pretty rare for an innocent to get killed. Their families lives weren't destroyed because several of the families are still millonaires. I know how many innocents the government murdered, I used to work for them and was part of the bullshit that you think is so right. Our government is a farce and no different then the mafia at this point.

If u really believe that, it's funny how people don't even doubt that he could be making that part up lol. Of course sammy is gonna come up with a good excuse of why he ratted. He's not gonna come out and just say he did it bcs he didn't wanna spend his life In prison. John gotti was caught on tape saying he was more worried about sammy getting pinched and this and that. He also was on tape saying how he knew he was gonna get life in prison. John knew he was gonna die in prison . Believe what u want but I highly doubt sammy is being truthful when it comes to this. It was unheard of up to that point...thousands of 'requests' were coming in all across the country after that judgment was handed down to Sammy from other criminals about to be sentenced or just sentenced, asking for a "Sammy deal", since it was such little time for so many murders, not all of which he committed but was involved with in one way or another such as clean up, helping to plan, etc. Drug dealers in his prison were even angry when he walked in to the prison since even they, many of them, were doing more time, and Sammy said out loud to them, "I shoulda killed a few more drug dealers, maybe I woulda got no time." and just laughed at them as he walked by.

They said he brought down John Gotti like that’s an accomplishment 🤦🏽‍♂️ you never retire from organized crime but you do get killed if you’re not accepted anymore. It makes me sick how he’s looked as a hero, I respect Sammy a lot as a gangster but he broke the number 1 rule and you can never respect that

He always makes himself out to be the good guy, he tries to make himself seem honorable and justify everything he did. When he told the story about killing 16 year old Alan Keizer he said that Alan “Killed himself” because he shouldn’t of got involved

John wasn’t getting out of it, Sammy has framed this for years that John would walk and he would take the fall. That wasn’t gonna happen, John was the prize for the prosecution and they had him all over tapes saying incriminating things he wasn’t walking he was getting life. Sammy just wanted to avoid getting life too. He’s really fooled people with his whole story, maybe John did say that he has to take the fall, but it wasn’t gonna happen and everyone knew it except Gotti himself that he was screwed no matter what.

Did you listen to the things john was saying about his under boss???? Sammy is no saint Do you know that Sammy was underground all along and had nothing concrete held on against him? Do you also know that everyone was warning john about his life style? I wouldn't even spend a minute in jail over another man's stupidity... I will nail his coffin myself

Totally agree , gotti thought he was in a secure location, same as the bosses before him tony ducks and castellano got caught on tapes , and as for gotti passing the buck on sammy, gotti knew he was fucked , boss of the family and beating them twice before and people think that gotti thought he could blame sammy , cmon

@dreggfrom what I understood about Sammy's stories is Gottis ego wouldn't have mattered. Him and his ego would've been what Paul and his ego turned out to be.

@dregg exactly. That's the story on Sammy's channel, " you shoot him in the head and ill get rid of the body". I really think deep down and to this day , the family knows that they let Sammy down. Probably why he's still around to tell these stories. Did Sammy go against code? Yes, he even admits that but the organization as a whole went against their own code.

A man's word is his scared bond worth more than all the wealth in the world, once you break your word you can never go back, and the respect and trust that once honored your reputation will never again be obtainable. Sure he dodged jail but will forever be known as a man you never turn your back on, for he holds the knife that will eventually enter your back. Just a cold hard fact of city life, nothing personal. If you can't honor your word never give it.
