Sammy , you tell everyone what they are dying to hear ! About what it's like me to be in that life. With all the movies made about the Mafia we still know that's mostly fiction . To get the truth is absolutely fascinating, and also takes out some of the romantic notions about life in the Mafia.

Is her X a mobster as well? Really glad she left all that behind. I really wonder why daughters of Mobsters always marry/date men who are part of that life, a normal civilian chick being intrigued and attracted to the mystique surrounding a dude in the life is actually more explainable whereas a daughter to that life will know the ins&outs beyond the glitz & appeal it has looking in from the outside, so based on how it decimates family it's shocking they would marry a mobster. John Gottis' daughter, Sonny Franzese, Castellano, daughter & many more and they always get beaten up by these guys like Victoria Gotti & Castellanos daughter who got wacked for beating her up.

@@infectedmuhrom6039 It's because it's not logical; you know the saying that "men will marry their mothers?" It goes for daughters as well, because no matter how toxic your dad may have been and how much you hated him, he is your framework for what you consider "a normal boyfriend/husband." This is just an innate part of ourselves that very rarely can be helped.

My Question for Sammy is this. With the Commission case looming over Paul Castellano. How would your life in the mafia changed had you not wacked Paul and he had gotten 100 years like the other bosses? Would you and John Gotti still been boss and underboss down the road? Would Frank DeCicco still be alive without retaliation from Luchese family for the hit on Paul? Love to see a video on this down the road.

Hey Sammy I enjoy your stories. I grew up near Woodhaven Queens and later I became a City Cop. I did 20 years and I Patrolled a bunch of the neighborhoods you've mentioned in your stories. I grew up with a bunch of guys who were in the life and sadly none are alive anymore. I spent many a night drinking with them in the late 80's and 90's and i know more than the average bear. Most stories I can never share. But I have a question for you. I know you get lots of questions and replies to your videos, so I'll understand if you dont get back to me. But You should respond to this because its legit. What Im about to tell you was the opinion of many of my guys that I knew that were in the life as well as myself. . I really hope you can respond. Oh well , my question is simple. It's no secret that Roy DeMeo was loyal to Big Paul as was his mentor Nino , and many think that if Roy hadn't lost his mind and fucked up so much in the end he wouldn't have been killed. And if Roy wasn't killed and was still alive in and around the time you and John G began planning the killing of Big Paul - their assertion, as well as mine, was that you and John G and your crews would have never gone through with it. Because if you 2 had made a move on Paul while Roy was alive and he caught wind of it he'd have killed you, John G and all of your crews in a NY minute. All due respect to you and John G, but Roy would've killed you all of easily. Roy DeMeo and his crew of , Senter, Testa, Gaggi, and quite a few others would have enjoyed it and he would have done it for many reasons but simply put, killing all of you would have elevated his and their status, which is what most mafia guys strived for. It's not that Demeo was so feared (even though we know he was), it's that his crew was so truly so feared. Lets face it. Most if not all of the hits you and John G participated in were the garden variety - shoot your friend in the back of the head and take over his money-making street businesses or his wife. There was no honor or bravery in it AT ALL ! But Roys crew was different. His crew was like Gregg Scarpas and you and John G's guys would've been no match for what would've been coming your way and you'd have been fish food in a New York second. Take care. Hope to hear back from you ... and like I said before its no insult to you but its the what the street guys always said . .I enjoy your channel. . Please reply .
