Being black is so annoying in a sense that you can never just live & be who you are without people basing everything off of your skin colour. Jeez, stay strong & beautiful Normani.

people say like move on, she was young... and everything, but I think that Camila didn't deserve people forgiving her, because if this was a normal situation, in which is the same situation but with people who are not famous and it's just on KZbin, a lot of people would flipped out for her actions....

so Normani called Camilla quirky and then Camilla's fans started photoshopping her as a slave being whipped and hung? Talk about an overreaction, I'm glad Normani is discussing this, media should highlight how extreme and extremely disturbed super fans can be.

Gillyweeds Thirtyfour Girl, can we talk? You took these words out of my mouth. I noticed this super fan shit becoming an issue a while ago. SNL actually did a skit called "The Beygency" about Beyonce fans a while back. It's really the only time I've ever seen the intensity of it highlighted. Also, I really have to wonder , did those comments seriously come from the mouths of tweens and young adult women who's taste in music is girl group pop? I mean there was a picture of her being lynched. Who finds someone , anyone , hanging to be funny? The last suspects on my list are a group of fucking "Harmonizers". Shit is intense.

***** "For a black woman"?? You're pretty stupid for an actual human being. Black women come in all shades, and there is nothing wrong with having dark skin. Men do love her, as her dance partner has expressed his attraction to her and another competitor asked her on a date. She's also been in relationships. But even if she hasn't, she's beautiful and talented, and doesn't need validation from men, especially from racist/colorist men like you. You're probably a dark skinned black man yourself, as dark skinned men are often the most insecure and hateful towards black women. I'm dark skinned and have never met a man of another race who didn't like me. Only self-hating black men that don't understand my confidence.

Jell-o she never fed them if I recall correctly she actually stopped being active on social media for a while as did Leslie Jones who they also mentioned in this video. Think about the story she told abt being called a burnt biscuit as a child ... Would you say she "fed that" by continuing to show up at school , a place she had the right to be? I don't accuse you of being hateful or racist or anything like that but are you considering the victim was literally just minding her business and a group of people ganged up on her with pointed attacks, not about her talent, music , nothing but the color of her skin. Really think about that. Then consider the demographic of people who are even aware of Fifth Harmony. That's A LOT of hate in such a young group of people. Hidden hate because they buy music that she is a part of , watch her videos and pretend to love the group as a whole but she was hit with the brutal reality that some of those "fans" see four pretty fair skin girls and Harrambe on stage. Imagine achieving all that she has and still feeling like the burnt biscuit from 1st grade because of people you thought had respect for you and your art. What's happening in this story is race related but also much bigger than that. Hate is a sickness.

Stop with your racist immature trolling, you're doing nothing but hurting me and normani." or something. some vague ass comment about dont hurt others feelings isnt the same as actually defending Normani from literal death threats. She still spoke out on the issue and addressed it. On the other hand, none of her bandmates even came for their fans when people were telling Camila to "return where she came from" and that she's "illegal". Or even when Camila left the band 5H fans turned on Camilla and began bullying her and sending death threats all across social media.

You must be a 12 year old little girl or a minor because if you are really a die-hard mature Camila fan you wouldn't have conducted yourself in such a poor Manor through typing. Lastly stop being a cyber stalker we have enough of those online who go to other people's videos of people they know they don't like and say hateful things there are people I don't like however you don't see me going to their page sprouting hateful things I just stay the hell away from there page it's as simple as that misery loves company 😒you just showed me exactly how miserable you truly are think before you text online every action has a reaction 😭.

You have small kids killing themselves because of bullying, and some of you ppl feel like she should "get out of her feelings"?? I understand "Freedom of Speech" She spoke about what happened to her and how it made her feel. These kids would rather kill themselves because they feel like they can't talk to someone. I'm still annoyed that Camilla never checked her fans out for what they did to Normani. Only Lauren spoke out publicly, while Dinah and Ally supported Normani. All Camila did was write a vaguer statement. If she checked her crazy fans maybe the cyber bullying would of been less for Normani. Because Camilla stans are crazy enough to do anything she says. No one should be bullied we are human beings with feelings even celebrities. Treating people with respect should be the first thought but in this world people feel they have the right to be mean and nasty too people they don't know. Normani is a beautiful young woman and I hope she has a wonderful career and life. The color of your skin means nothing it is how you carry your self and act that should matter.

Her story about her going to a predominately white school matched my exact experience of going to a predominately white school and even a predominately black school. I was constantly bullied and teased about my dark skin color even by dark skin people, more specifically males and I was confused because I was like how are you going to tease me on my dark skin when you’re dark too, maybe even darker than me. In the white school kids were completely ignorant saying in there better than me because they were white or lightskin. I was the only black girl in my class. No boys payed attention to me..... Not even any of the very few black guys, because in the school they openly stated that they didn’t think black girls were attractive, unless she was mixed.

At first I had only seen this performance through gif form on Tumblr, but seeing the outfits, the people surrounding her like that, and her dancing all just reminded me of seeing those really disturbing evil, vile, disgusting, repulsive, abhorrent, upsetting and saddening images of her photoshopped onto photos of African-Americans being lynched and hanged. Now watching this and learning about the context in her pre-package interview before the dance, i'm glad she addressed it in this way. This exceptionally strong, perseverant young lady took those truly disturbing images she had seen and turned it into COMPELLING art. Art about inspiring, persevering, resilience, respect and acceptance. She is truly a class act who deserves everything good in life from now on.

Camila Cabello fans crack me up, they said to forget about her racist past, because she was a child, but 15 is not the age of a child. Being 15 is a young adult, and at age 15, I knew what racism was, and I knew the difference between being an individual demonstrating respectful opinions and being a racist bigot.

I know this is old but I think people should come back to this video when they question why Normani is 'quiet' 'aloof' or say she's ''boring''. Remember she was attacked and faced probably trauma from the racism. She even said she's closed now because of it, and during the 5h days we saw her personality she's a fun bright nice woman. People always forget this happened to her.

Bullying of ANY SORT should be severely punished by the law or something because words can hurt and damage a person for life. I've personally experienced cyber-bullying and I can tell you it's as if someone was kicking you to death. It literally hurts your thoughts, your soul and I'm sure there are words or things I will carry through with my whole life.. So please, be considerate with what you're gonna say, do or write :)

M so proud of this girl. She is so hardworking and beautiful. She is like my hero the woman I look upto. I have also faced colorism from my community. I am indian and is still teased for my brown skin. I want her to suceed so badly. So that my daughter has someone beautiful to look upto like I had celebrities like naomi, kelly, beyonce. etc because we really dont havw dark skinned superstars here in india most of the celebrities who are brown bleach their skin or promote bleaching. In a predominantly brown country I rarely seea good representation of brown ppl . I am so thankful for all the black women what they have to go through I cant even imagine I have so much respect for thm. I always try to support women of color in whatever way I can. Representation matters.
