Yes motivation is a bop, & top 5 of her songs, but she’s already done the pop music thing whilst being in Fifth Harmony, so I understand why she wants to move away from that. A lot of it you can still dance to, like wild side, candy paint, big boy, diamonds etc. I’m happy she’s making what she wants to make for her soul

You never know what somebody is going through, and it was unfair of us to hold her to such a high standard, because we were obsessed with her potential, rather than seeing her as a human being. I could really tear up watching this interview. Normani is a different person than she was when she started her solo journey and I’m so thankful for that! The growth, & confidence, is soo beautiful to see since 2018.
