TRAGIC.....unnecessary competition, greed, living beyond their means....she didn't hate seeing them in the news when they were "over the top" with the flashy lifestyle....she was too busy looking her nose down at other people "buying used houses" and insulting her sister-in-law by calling her golddigger and former stripper and downplaying the fact that she DOES love her husband (her brother) and basically trying to recruit others to see her in a negative light too, and on and on. If I were the judge I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CONVINCED EITHER that she'd seen the light. It's just a typical move made obviously to avoid jail....like one of those press conference apologies celebrities or politicians make when they get CAUGHT. NOW they want to think about the kids? They certainly weren't thinking about the kids WHEN THEY WERE BUSY COMMITTING THE CRIME(S)....it's just too bad though. I honestly did like their over-the-top house and liked watching Teresa decorate it with over-the-top furniture and other items. The irony of it is, it seems they still could've or would've been successful enough (like presumably her brother and sister-in-law are) had they'd just conducted business LEGALLY as the initial path appeared to be.....TRAGIC...such a shame.

Having sex with her husband in wine vineyard with a table of people nearby with cameras...didn't mind that either. Low life people. Criminals who deserve what they get. Deport. Real role models for 4 children. I agree with LuLu Belle's comments below..now if we could jail or deport the low life BANKERS that took down the economy and hard working peoples money...maybe we could get somewhere in this Country. Cheryl Joyner ....Hey, hey, hey it's "bubbies" NOT "boobies", LOL. But yeah it's mind blowing to me too how the law protects bankers that actually and most likely saw some questionable circumstances with their loan request, and yet fulfilled the loans anyway.....and then want to cry for a bail out...and then cry that they didn't want to take the bail out initially or it wasn't enough (?). Nevertheless, Teresa WAS all about being in the media....that's what she needed to build her brand and relevance. She became more low key though and awfully quiet once their legal woes began.

Teresa and Joe should never have made problems with Melissa and Joe .now that they excepted there apolligy.notice they r standing by them .that shows not all people with money are cold.I love Melissa and Joe and there beautiful family .teresa is blessed to have an amazingly talented sister in law .hopefully this time she won't screw there family bond up.

If you mean pity in terms of, feeling sorry for people who felt they had to go through ILLEGAL measures to create an over-the-top lifestyle, yes...it's pitiful that they feel SO inadequate to the extent that they would break the law and risk going to jail and leaving behind four children and creating a shameful platform for the children. Otherwise, you reap what you sow.....and yeah understandably, you had to see their spending habits and mannerisms that lead to now which is why most of us are really not particularly empathetic with them or their situation.

l kofie I am surely not sympathetic to any of this because none of these people are real in the respect that they truly understand reality... Meaning they know nothing of what its like to worry if the bills will be paid on time or can I really afford to buy a new car mind you one that sells for $16000.00 or however much a low end Altima costs just for example not a Bentley or Range Rover. My wife is in desperate need of a new car and we both work great jobs well I own my own company and she works for Verizon Wireless yet we scrape pennies just to get by mainly because of the economy but fucking a do you think they worry about shit fuck no THAT'S REALITY!!!!!!!! ......yeah...I agree with you all the way. It seems she was competing with any and everyone in their social circle and community INCLUDING her own brother and his wife. I'd mentioned in my initial post that the irony of the situation is, it seems like they may or could've actually been able to be legitimately/LEGALLY successful if they weren't in such a rush to get ahead of the line. How sad that she decide to even jab at her brother's wife/her sister-in-law in order to have people not acknowledge her apparantly or frankly to stay ahead of "the competition".

I think it was horrible to send Teresa to jail. we have real problems in this country and the guidices are not one of them. The justice system is corrupt.. sorry her kids have to pay the price.

Are you serious? These people are criminals. The thing that disgusts me is that they have even given them the accommodation to serve their sentences at different times so one of them can be home with the kids. Any other couple would of been sent in together. She showed up to court with a $2000 purse and $500 sunglasses! When they were doing people dirty they didn't care. She continues to sell her story to magazines like OK - she is finally getting what is due to them!
