Im a survivor of haiyan everytime it blockout here i feel like we got back in the past and until now I'm still have trauma about that. Now we have again super typhoon Rolly. I hope it will not cause a lot of damage in manila or luzon. Keep safe fellow filipino🙏

I lived in the very town that the tuphoon first hit, Guiuan, and it was unlike anything I've seen before. To see our house simply be overwhelmed and flooded partially by the storm was such a scary experience for us. When it was safe enough to get out, I was taken aback by the amount of debris on the streets and all the houses I knew either heavily damaged or completely blown away. Even almost 10 years later, I can tell that from then on, nothing was ever the same again

Very late correction, but the buildings can withstand most, even strong typhoons but are useless in the face of a storm whose winds shredded concrete when it first made landfall Guiuan, Samar
