Have you heard the old saying "Like Father, like son." ? The son was 24, living at home, no job, not contributing in any way to the family, and likely just as abusive as his father. It is NO excuse for murder, but there is a lot more to this case than I think we know at the moment. She had to not only support that family, she likely was the one who had to do all the cooking and cleaning as well. Did you see how thin and worn out she looked? That body language? That is the body language and look of someone who has been in a super stressful situation over a very long term. I've seen women like this before, locked into an abusive marriage because of their love of the children and belief that divorce is somehow wrong, with husbands that don't even bother to do anything but selfishly pursue their own fun. The women are essentially single parents without the power to make decisions for the family, and with VERY bad examples of adulthood being set by their husbands. They have the same look.. thin, worn out, curled in on themselves, so exhausted they are no longer even able to dream of a respite to the stress. There is no excuse for murder. But there are extenuating circumstances that society can learn from, so we can try to help there be less murders in the future. At least, perhaps, we can learn from what went wrong and perhaps make our society a little better for those effected by similar circumstances.

@@goodolnonamee You're wrong. Mental illness is something that needs to be addressed in this nation no matter the gender of the person afflicted. He should have done a better job the first time around when her husband died. She was seen as innocent and treated as unblemished angel without investigations even when her son died within 40 days! A half-baked untrained cop could have done better if his sense of justice was impartial. Some people just earn the privilege of not being thoroughly questioned when crime occurs on their watch! This is why a lot of people complain about the justice system.

Sasha Kearley ehh, I don't think that's totally true. Maybe they wouldn't answer "no"(that's probably her subconscious speaking) but I don't think many parents who lose children outright mention them for various reasons. I lost a brother years ago and honestly I think it'd be odd I my mom counted him when someone asked how many children she has or whatever. Rarely when people ask about my family do I say I have two brothers simply because I rather not dive into questions about it I don't feel like answering to strangers.

@Chizzle Pickle Productions I get that, everyone is going to have a different way of addressing it to strangers, which is kind of my point. I mean technically what she said is equivalent to Q:"Do you have a son?" A:"I had a son but he passed away", which to me doesn't seem odd, some universal indicator of guilt, or a way to denounce his existence. To me someone using past tense over present(I.e. had vs have) is incredibly common when people die. Of course knowing she is guilty its easy to say that she answered that way because she killed him, or disowned him before killing him, etc. But to say "no parent would ever do ____" is simply ridiculous. Every brother, mother, grandfather, sister, father, and so on will have their own way of wrestling the grief and their own way to avoid fielding unwanted questions from strangers, the semantics contained within is really no way to gauge if they killed their loved one or not. People are all different. People all do and say different things. Some people are plain weird and do extremely strange things... None of that is an indicator of guilt.

What was the end game with this mom? ---Hey everyone, I killed my whole family and didn’t have to use any weapons--- The daughter helping her mom would’ve been the last one to go, and mom would remarried and begin the process all over again, but this time with an established household full of happy kids. Psychological gratification has to be a motive, or pretty close to it.

If she's asked more she states "One of my sons died". She has never disregarded Keith because he died. He will always be her son and my brother.

Me too. If you surround yourself with negativity you will start to become a negative, unhappy person. It’s like the saying “you are what you eat”. It’s very important to surround yourself with positivity and to think positively. We all know horrible things happen, but nothing good happens from dwelling on them. Surround yourself with love and light and you will help the world by radiating love and light as well.

She's past a narcissist. She's a psychopathic serial killer. Narcissists are like con artists, they will pathologically lie at every turn and manipulate beyond belief, but they have no interest in killing their victims. Psychopaths, on the other hand, do not feel remorse or guilt for their actions. They just as well kill you as to look at you. They are both in the same cluster called Cluster B personality disorders. Thus far there is no cure. All types of Cluster Bs are extremely ego centric, but can display an amazing amount of superficial charm when they have to. They have no interest in how other people feel. If you ever come upon one of these Cluster Bs which also includes Borderlines and Histrionics, don't walk, run fast as you can to the nearest exit and don't look back. If they don't destroy you physically, they will try and destroy you emotionally and mentally. The toll they will take on their families, children, you, and your family is not even fathomable.

Their existence isn't just wiped from..well..existence, simply because they are no longer living. If you come upon a dead deer, that deer doesn't exist? If someone is cremated, their ashes don't exist? My grandfather is still my grandfather, despite being deceased. He still created my mother, whom created me. That doesn't change because he died. What probably happened is one or both of the mother's parents passed on the genetics for psychopathy/sociopath whether they had been psychopaths/sociopaths. With the genetic predisposition raised in a particular type of environment the mother developed sociopathy, a lack of affect and morals. Her brain did not develop normally with defects in the amygdala and prefrontal cortex. The same thing would have happened to the he murdering daughter. Bad + bad early environment= sociopath. She was a church organist not because she was religious and had any morals but because she wanted to convince others of her respectability in order to get what she wanted.

Too many people are tricked into thinking a college degree is necessary and end up in thousands and thousands of dollars worth of debt you can never get rid of. Unfortunately a lot of hospitals and coroners aren't as thorough when assessing people on certain medications and with certain conditions, like Shaun's epilepsy, because everything gets attributed to the known condition too hastily. The same with overweight middle aged American men, who as a group have sudden heart attacks at such a high rate that the cause of one might not be thoroughly investigated, just assumed to be CVD.
@iBeFloe
@iBeFloe 5 жыл бұрын
Doctors are supposed to do blood tests & the such. Also coroners are looking for things that doctors may have missed, but if it looks like a simple heart attack case it’d be hard to assume poisoning if they’re not seeing anything else wrong.0

This is such a heartbreaking story. I'm glad Sarah survived and is doing well. I will never understand the depravity of the human mind, and the lack of remorse the "mom" and daughter felt. This is an awful story of hate and selfishness. I pray for Sarah's healing mentally and physically as well as spiritually
