When a swimmer is taken by a large shark there is nothing left of the victim. So unless there is a witness the person is listed as missing My suspicion is that shark attacks occur much more frequently than documented

What im tryna figure out about the kids in NYC being swept out to sea is why the search wasn't being done by studying the rip current itself. If they was swept out to sea an easy way to find them is by contacting an oceanographer. Theres only but so much distance they could of gone within an hour and if you study currents from the place they were last spotted you could easily find them that is if sharks haven't gotten to them.this is shark season.

Well, once again, homes get flooded because local municipal and county governments allow private home developers to buy land that is on a well known flood plain and build subdivisions and commercial development on. They knew full well that those developments could experience flooding and perhaps that annual 20 or even 100 year catastrophic flooding. Those local governments in Minnesota and elsewhere could have prevented this!

I live in Northern California and about a half hour from Mt. Cobb. There are always small earthquakes there and up in the Geysers in Geyserville about 3-5miles North of me. 3.3 isn't uncommon for those areas. Lol but i still am scared of earthquakes lol

When hiking in unknown wilderness have several hundred pieces of orange cloth. Tie them on branches. Make sure the last one tied is visible while you tie the next one. It is very easy to get lost very soon while hiking in a forest. Know where North is before you start and know how to locate the North Star which can be located by way of the Big Dipper.
