Yes. I love the way she introduces the piece by telling us they're going to cut the engines, so we can hear the Nat. Sound, and then proceeds to bloviate through the entire thing. Idiots! Fire them and hire me. I will give you a much better product.

It is totally disrespectful and disgusting that these news anchors can't shut their idiotic mouths to simply allow the viewer to watch and listen in silence. What is the point of announcing the pause is out of respect to Mr Carter's normal day, hearing the birds and the bell, and then having someone obliviously chatter inanely through the moment?

I wish we could have had a moment of silence during the 'Bell Ringing '. The incessant repetitive narrative of the anchor ruined the moment, I felt 😢 It literally took a minute or so but she kept rumbling on......repeating the same facts over again and did not even mark the end of the bell. Just kept going...😢 Why.......????

I will always admire our former President Carter he was such a humble, charitable man who believed so strongly in giving back in any way you are capable of doing he was a very good man who quite frankly was too honest of a man to have been President 😢 his legacy will live on for many years to come. Through the Carter center❤ not to mention the people who benefited from his work with Habitat for Humanity.

WHEN IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE !! Tears are the raindrops of the soul And there's one for all who die. They are the silent words of grief As they fall free from the eye. The shortest verse in the Bible Is the one where Jesus wept So, if you hold back tears, shed them When your pain is too harsh to accept. Tears are lovelier than a smile When they come from those you love As they seek relief from sadness When you're summoned from above. Tears are a love-mates humble gift When it's time to say goodbye Though the eyes are wet and swollen With time and patience they dry. Time wipes tears from all faces Whose hearts are tuned to sorrow. Those that cry a thousand tears Shall be blessed by tomorrow. By Tom Zart
