I have BP1, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain from old sports injury. Why is it that some people get support but others do not? I draw SSDI and am a female disabled veteran who did not see combat. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 in 1996 with anxiety, and depression. Then 2000 at 34 was in army. 2003 army medical board for foot. They did not acknowledge my mental illness but they knew. 2003 and after go to VA hospitals. 2008 got my SSDI in California lawyer was over Sacramento mental health prior him taking my case. Its 2019 and the stigma, discriminations, adult bullying, etc is bad at times. I have NO paranoia. I'm in Kentucky now. God help me lol. Ableisms are bad.

Craig Lugay.....I have had Bipolar Type II for 25 years. I often thought she had something similar because I cant spot it easily. Lots of people with Bipolar are very talented on the creative side and find themselves artists or performers because when Mania is taking the wheel they are super creative and need very little to no sleep.

I have it type 2(undiagnosed though but I looked for symptoms on the Internet and they fit me)- long periods of depression and feeling empty(like weeks even months) and then I have days(5 or 6 in a row) when feeling hypomanic. My parents don’t believe in mental health even though I’ve told them. They said I should pray more because Jesus is the key of happiness. They Also said I am ungrateful. Like I feel like that too. I mean, I have a family, my family is not poor,I have a fit body, I live in a big house,yet There is something missing. That’s What makes me feel even worse

Its very real i wish people would understand the day to day struggle. All i ever hear is ohh that crazy bitch or shes just making it up or you should be able to control yourself if that shit was true then maybe i would of saved all of these years fighting with my family or i would of saved all those tears and saddness i have felt all these years. I was at a point of ending my life because i couldnt handle my mind anymore.
