First of all He’s not the founder. 🙄 This is respectful and sacred medicine that has been around for years. And it should be done by a chaman in a form of a ceremony. It’s not a joke nor a game it’s sacred medicine. That deserves love and respect.

No, it is not, the frog is released after venom collecting and the fact it is considered so precious makes people care for it and its environment. It is like saying that ayahuasca is endangered now because more and more people use it. The vine is getting planted all over the world because of it...

Watching this in the afternoon after a morning kambo session. My week-long flu that were at its peak only hours ago cleared right up, I'm seriously 90% back to normal after having a seemingly endless fever, bad-ass cold, cough and sore throat earlier. The venom must provoke a powerful immune response, wiping everything in its way out. Safe or not, it works. Convincingly one of nature's powertools, but notice the reporter only did one dot and was not in need of adressing any health problem.

I’m surprised ABC is advertising this. Just recently, few days ago some Russian Lukoil head millionaire died from this in some shamans basement from taking this Kambo ceremony. That shaman instead of calling the ambulance, just told the guy it’s ok and told him to sleep and the guy’s heart was in pain and he died. I mean the guy was successful millionaire and to die from such silly thing is just ridiculous. If you’re thinking of doing this - don’t.

Phyllomedusa Bicolor, Giant Monkey Frog, Giant Leaf Frog, Kambo. Phyllomedusa bicolor is a nocturnal tree dweller. They live in the tropical canopy rarely venturing below 10-20 metres above ground level. They never encounter humans other than to be captured for ceremonial and medicinal uses. All Phyllomedusa Bicolor involved in these practices are prisoners awaiting torture. They are being tortured on your behalf, and, in addition, the 'medicine' extracted from Phyllomedusa Bicolor is a narcotic. It causes liver failure, depression of senses often confused as a calmness, it's highly addictive, 4000 times stronger than medical morphine (Heroin). There are 193 different compounds within the serum, each has a very specific impact on the human biome and vital organs. If you smoke tobacco or use alcohol on a regular basis you should avoid Kambo's serum, it will suppress the respiratory system and it will have serious negative impacts on your body. Please ask your ceremonial guide to tell you what these compounds are and how dangerous they can be. Please ask the native populations how many of their brothers and sisters die from liver failure and associated chronic symptoms. One experience Phyllomedusa bicolor would never naturally endure is being staked out, tied in an ritualistic X pattern then having it's protective serum removed. It is interesting when we consider up to 80% of a any frog's sensory experiences are endermic, felt through the skin, we can absolutely decide that for all Phyllomedusa Bicolor forced to endure this ceremony there is severe pain. If we consider the musculoskeletal configuration of Kambo, we can also accept that both posterior abductor muscles are torn in this ceremony, along with the sartorius and both major and minor gracilis muscles, this is essential, the pain encourages Phyllomedusa to produce peptides and opioids, it is attempting to protect itself. So, if the frog is trying to protect itself, and this is beyond question, why are you subjecting a wonderful animal to such immense pain, repeatedly. Why is it that you do not mention the violence inflicted upon this creature. Can you also describe the free life of Phyllomedusa Bicolor, what do they eat, where do they mate, how are their young protected from predation, what is the normal life span, are they endangered, do they appear on the IUCN red list, being 100% nocturnal, can you tell me how they identify each other. I will share this with you, a female deicides on her partner, this will be the male with the strongest call. Together they descend from the high jungle canopy to a place they have chosen together, where they then build a nest. The nest is always located above water, a pool normally. The nest comprises of carefully folded interlocking leaves, they form a protective sphere for the eggs, both parents, by vigorously rubbing their hind legs together produce a foam, the eggs are deposited in the foam and within 8-12 days develop into tadpoles. Mum and Dad have built an escape hatch for their children, and the children know where it is. Eventually they exit the birth sphere and drop into the pool beneath the nest where they continue development until metamorphosis. Please live your life gently, with thought and care for all living things and a full appreciation of what you may leave behind for our future children, remember we do not have dominion........peace and joy

The toad at 5:19 also contains a psychedelic substance(and many more cardiotoxic substances mixed with it in the venom) It's one of the bufo species, not the alvarius one, but a common cane toad like the Australian ones. Those bumps on its shoulders with tiny dots are its venom glands. Its venom has Bufotenine, or 5-HO-DMT, which is also in some Rapés used in Latin america like yopo and paricá.(they come from tree seeds and also contain tiny amounts of 5-MeO-DMT, N,N-DMT and even psilocybin but it all quickly decays in a few months to n,n which is more stable) Just a side note, I've never seen information about the compounds in the phyllomedusa bicolor skin secretion, but from having used it yesterday, I think it has some really powerful DMT isomer, possibly even 5-MeO - I've felt visuals more intense than on Ayahuasca and got straight into ego death, but the effects were short lived; I presume it was some type of DMT plus the cardiotoxins and histamines from what I've felt subjectively. The shaman said it had ibogaine in it too but Idk..

Choice suggests for you this is about discovery rather than a search for curative interventions....I wonder how many species of animal, insect rely on the vines for survival and how much pollution, Co2, Methane is produced from the travel element connected to this global industry. I am in the UK, if I chose to use ayahuasca here there would be a 10,000 kilometre environmental debt to consider, the empty space where vines once grew, the life support mechanisms these vines are part of and the appropriation of cultures whose future is changed by your money. There is a growing belief in indigenous cultures that 'trending' and erroneous medicine cultures within the west are in fact modern forms of colonialism........in the amazon you can find shaman of every nationality. Perhaps Maris ocean you could abstain, instead join with frontline jungle protectors and choose not to exploit what is already broken. Co2 uptake in Amazonia deforms leaf stomata, leaves reduce in size, canopies thin, temperatures and humidity increase, jungle floors are exposed to greater amounts of direct light, leaf litter is dramatically reduced, the life cycle of all species is altered and many species go extinct because you 'choose'...
