Absolutely, typical Americans complaining instead of helping out, shame on them. Jamaicans and a lot of other people are impacted throughout the Caribbean due to this devastating storm. The reporter is on the north coast on the opposite side of the island impacted, as Beryl passed on the southern coast. She didn't experience the magnitude of it. Thanking God it did not make landfall as was earlier predicated, can't imagine what that would been like. Kingston & St Andrew fared well, so too Portmore & parts of St. Catherine. However southern parishes of Clarendon, Mandeville, St Elizabeth were'nt as fortunate.

That American couple needs to go home and never come back Lifetime Jamaica pass revoked), talking about we are tired, hungry and ready 2 JUST go home. Really? and that daughter talking about it's " uncomfortable" Really? You think the Jamaica people who live their get to say this is uncomfortable? and talking about no food, you at a hotel and from the looks of it a very nice one, typical boogie family, who not use to having a little things that don't go as planned, Jamaica will bounce back from this ,their resolve is 2nd to none, they are very strong resilient people.Prayers 4 all of Jamaica and the Caribbean and anyone else affected by this Hurricane.

I loved the people of Jamaica during my cruise visit. I also respected how dangerous their country was and its laws compared to the US where I’m used to being. With that said, the only aspect I didn’t appreciate was the cost of everything being more expensive for food than in America given their currency is a multiple in value compared to ours over there and they made me pay US Cash. $16 for a bag of chips and a sandwich is lunacy. Mexico, is beginning to have these issues as well. In Jamaica, in their currency that chips and sandwich would cost them $2 US, not $16.

I didn't know that a storm was coming because I don't listen to the news or radio but the vacationers who claimed they're hungry and tired you are going home. Some people don't have money to buy food or places to live. Their jobs closed and or their houses washed away. Wherever you're going you will appreciate what you have your children will always remember this trip and thank Jehovah that the hotel kept you safe. I just got light 2 days ago. Am I complaining, no I moved in with my mom with the generator. The hotel must had some sort of generator. Years ago in August America had a power outage for days. People had to bear it included my husband and children. I was in Jamaica. So life is worth living. Anyway all is well that ends well.
