Proud of worshipping images. Why worship Mary and not Jesus. Why should the dead saints pray for you. When you can pray directly to jesus. You people are just worshipping Satan. How can your pope forgive sin when he is just a man same as us. Only God can forgive sin. False doctrines. You are the anti christ.

But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”(This is Jesus downplaying the importance of mary in bringing him to earth) Jeremiah 7:18 "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger" (in reference to mary been falsely called as queen of heaven shows the worship or reverence of these godess is ancient and pagan) ON PRAYER IN GENERAL Matthew 6:9 ""This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name" (this is Jesus teaching his disciples on prayer nowhere does he mention the importance of praying to his mother for graces or protection) Ephesians 6:18 "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." Its not some process the Vatican makes. This is paul speaking years after the resurrection of christ. 1 Corinthians 15 talks about this too) ON WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE SAVED Romans 10:9 "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"(this is wjat is needed baptism is the final confirmation. No where do we see you need to be baptized first to be saved or you need to be baptized by any specific church) Mark 16:16 "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned" (as you can see Beleiving is the emphasis and tue consequences of not Beleiving is the main topic not being baptized. When you Beleive tobbe baptized woukd be the least of problems) Matthew 28:16-20 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(He gave this commission to his disciples that is all who were following him. Not to any church organization) ON THE MEANING OF THE CHURCH, WHAT THE CHURCH DID WHEN THEY MET AND CHURCH ADMINISTRATION 1 Corinthians12:13 "For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-Jews or Greeks, slaves or free-and all were made to drink of one Spirit" (This talks about how one becames part of the body of christ and that is true his spirit. How does one receive the spirit, acts 2:38 "Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy spirit") Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (This is quite clear) 1 Corinthians 14:26 "What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? (This is what we should do when we come together we don't see this in the RCC and to be fair many protestant and orthodox churches as well, paul teaches we all have different gifts and different things to contribute to the growth of one another. Today the opposite is the case. Its usually one head man or gis subordinates in different branches of an organization calling the shots) Titus 1:5-6" For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient" 1 timothy 3:1-6" This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. No where do we see that they must not be married or celibate. This is falsehood the Catholic Church forces on its clergy(whom they call priest btw) Ephesians 4:11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.(Like many of the protestant churches the Catholic Church barely or doesn't recognize these gifts. Instead it has its strange hierarchical structure of priests, bishops, archbishops, cardinals and finally the pope who has a pagan title pontifux maximus and vicar of christ meaning representative of Christ. This is who Jesus said was his representative on earth. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you" no one man is representative of christ only his spirit. The argument of Peter is forced in. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent" Theres little evidence peter was in rome and peter for sure wasn't called papa nor did he have a papal palace not did he decree papal bulls. These are all strange to the new testament church) Finally the churches in the new testament were local congregations with elders or bishops they did not have any subordination to rome or some pope somewhere. They only had subordination to Christ. The bishop or elder was appointed for guiding the people in the right direction.

This video has some cuts. (the first one shown swearing in is Cardinal Reinhard Marx who was about 13-15 minutes in. Bergoglio was one of the first to swear in; this video doesn't show him at all.) I don't know why it's incomplete, it might be possible to find out, but one of the commentators might have explained the role of the Holy Spirit and it was left out.

Thank you on behalf of Roman Catholics worldwide. I find a ridiculous amount of anti-Catholic bigots, many of whom claim to be Christian, going to any pro or neutral Catholic videos, not to persuade to change churches, but to hate and spew hateful, nasty trash. So, as you said, we pray for and love even our agitators or enemies, because, as Jesus said "If you love only those who love you, what reward is there in that?" Dead on truth, and real truth is often hard, but we will. Bless you all. Cars

Look for him at 08:42 during the Litany. But his swearing-in isn't shown. You can see it at 01:02:19 in the EWTN coverage, look on KZbin for "Conclave Procession 2013/03/12". Right after Brazilian Claudio Hummes, and before José da Cruz Policarpo, Patriarch of Lisbon. This ABC coverage has some cuts. It begins with Cardinal Reinhard Marx (Munich) who actually signed in about 13 minutes _after_ Bergoglio.

Yep, Reinhard Marx. And he was 17 or so minutes _after_ Bergoglio, so Bergoglio's swearing-in was left out. The full swear-in with everybody is "Conclave Procession 2013/03/12" on EWTN's KZbin channel. You can see Bergoglio swearing in at 01:02:19 in that one.

Cardinal Edwin O'Brien is way up near the start of the incoming procession because he was among the most junior cardinal deacons then. Do not confuse with absent Cardinal Keith O'Brien. From 1978 onward, there have been 2 rows of chairs on each side because of the large number of participants. This caused discontinuance of the canopies (which were up over each chair and then, except for the one over the new pope, were all lowered).

It says early on that Cardinal Re is not eligible to vote here. This is incorrect. He presided at this conclave as the senior cardinal-bishop who was eligible (I.e. not over age limit), and had one vote just like each of the other attendees.

At about 7:30, I hear mention of a homily by Cardinal Sodano. He is the Dean but did not participate in this conclave (over age limit).

@@thepianoman6958 Why because I chose to believe what the bible says is literal not some sort of allegorical fairy tale that can be used to frighten and control people? If you need further distinguishing features the Major Archbishops were further up front and the Patriarchs were further back. The Major Archbishop of the Syro Malabar Catholic Church has a biretta that is more heart shaped (?) on top. The Major Archbishop of the Syro Malankara Catholic Church has a onion shaped (imagine Taj-Mahal) biretta. The Coptic Patriarch isn't wearing a biretta. The Maronite Patriarch's own is like an upside down bowl (I can't describe it any better).
