It's because men are still capable of producing offspring for most of their lives but women can't conceive beyond a certain age. As a society, we have a genetic imprint to discriminate on those terms because we want to further the species.

Absolutely. The men in the comments trying to blame it on biology here are the exact reason we have this issue. He’s not trying to make anymore children at this age, so sit the fuck down. As humans we can make conscious decisions, so just because we are biologically wired for something, doesn’t mean we have to 1. Abide by it 2. Make the same choices. Nobody states why women CANT, they just make up shitty excuses why men are allowed to, even though men aren’t making babies at that age so their excuses are invalid. Sexism at its finest.

I admire and appreciate Demi's honesty. Like when she says that being 40 and in love with a 25-year-old, she just felt like a teenager again who just wanted to be liked and desired. It's clear she had some self-esteem issues, and this younger man's attention and desire for her made her feel better. So it drove her to try to please him in whatever way she could, either by desperately trying to give him a child or by sexually pleasing him with threesomes etc. Psychologically, this is all very interesting and makes sense. And, at the same time, it is not surprising in the slightest that that didn't work out for very long.

Too much of an age gap isn't good, and that goes both ways, Bruce Willis marrying someone that is the same age as his daughter is also not good. It's better if people are near the same age, they have similar interests and more in common and at the same stages in life, such as having a family. Demi Moore should have realized by marrying a man so young he would most likely want to have his own family and being already in her 40s could be a problem.
@superlex6115 жыл бұрын
@@joannaherodotou1491 that is not the point, you can't judge a age that is always the same if that was 39 years difference that is out of order but atleast 20 to 30 years age difference in between, look at Sly and Jennifer 22 years difference in between

She’s not someone you see doing interview after interview, warts & all every other week. What she’s accomplished in spite of it all is inspirational. I have so much more respect for her learning of her backstory & her honesty given her status is quite something else. I’m sure writing down her truth served as therapy but it’s also going to resonate with so many women, in so many different ways, it’s an incredibly brave thing to do but I hope she knows the strength & hope it will give others in similar situations. Good for you Demi I hope the next chapter of your life is everything you want it to be & more.

The change is a crucial time in a relat... She was having a hard go of it. Even her kids couldn't stand her. She barely survived it. It is truly hell on some women. Especially beauties.

Having a child with your loving spouse is a gift. Ashton being a young man probably wanted a child. Demi wanted to give him one. It was not meant to be. So many layers to this situation.
