This was so moving for me. As a non-Australian woman, I did not know about Heather Mitchell. She is simply fabulous. She is rare and wonderful.

What’s the best way to make make money from crypto trading investment?
@sidneyekilim2782 Жыл бұрын
I don't trade, I invest with a professional assigned by a crypto company that trades for us and returns profits on weekly basis for me and you can invest your capital and get weekly Returns of investment (ROI) without any extra fees attache The professional is Mrs Chloe.

Best wishes to Heather. You know who would have been better than you Ruth? Literally anybody who wasn't about to cark it while the Dems still had a Senate majority. The boots are firmly back on the necks of women now. Well done.

"She didn't have it"? Whatever "it" is, I'm sure she has it in spades.

Yes that seems like a strange thing to say about Heather Mitchell. Perhaps it was personal dislike or prejudice on the part of the casting director who said that. I first saw Mitchell and Hugo Weaving in "Bodyline" and later on, in a few things here and there, including the very strange, late 80s? film "Everlasting Secret Family" (where she played Arthur Dignam's younger wife - Dignam was the father of Douglas Jardine in "Bodyline"). I always thought she was very pretty, with a feminine and classic look. She's very photogenic, and still looks great today. You'd think she would've been offered way more roles - she had the NIDA training, the talent, the looks - and could have been a major star like Weaving, Neill, Judy Davis etc. But showbiz is just unpredictable. Mitchell's co-star in "Everlasting Secret Family" was Mark Lee, who had his breakout role in the film "Gallipoli". Yet aside from some onscreen roles here and there, Lee's film/TV career didn't ignite the way Mel Gibson's did. I think he worked mainly in theatre, like Mitchell, so he's kept a low public profile. It's wonderful to hear that Mitchell survived cancer, and is doing well today, and has a lovely family.

Heather is certainly very talented. I think sometimes people in positions of seniority tend to have pre-conceived notions of what the "it" is, but it also shows that these people are narrow minded if their choices are based on their version of the "it" factor which shouldn't be something concrete in the first place.
