IBAC and the new NACC both need to drop this 'closed door' clause they have for enquiries. Bit weird to share a politicians mental health issues and assign blame to being investigated by the commissions, like we should overlook corruption if it can ease the burden of stress politicians have to endure? WTF

Isn't the issue with open enquiries is the possible weponisation of IBAC to throw dirt at political opponents? Not sure how to deal with that... but I could imagine having a small jury panel running alongside IBAC enquiries to determine if it should stay private or something.

It’s rediculous. Berijiklian was forced to testify publicly in NSW and it meant that the final report’s findings of corruption were no surprise.
