Shaun Micallef is one of the funniest men alive. I don't think have seen him in anything and not at least chuckled. Milo Kerrigan always gets me crying with laughter.

I don't get why everyone doesn't see things this way? It's perfectly reasonable what Shaun says.

I think a contextual alert for people. I love cutting edge humour in almost any form. Precisely because it pushes the bar. And when people are cancelled, it promotes discussions in whole communities. It allows for greater insights and debates. These organic discussions which would not happen any other way. The greatest comedians aren’t about hurting others, they are actually supportive of individual. They are protecting our freedom to think and speak individually. They are challenging us to look around in the uncomfortable. We won’t grow as a society until we are prepared to hear all stories. Even when we fundamentally disagree. Where’s the growth point, where do we agree, what needs to be protected and then the policy’s that push us forth.

Really glad to hear Shaun say that reviewing and possibly removing old sketches that in hindsight aren't appropriate. Thank you to The Weekly for airing this segment. Also, I am looking forward to seeing his documentary about drinking. We need honesty right now. I do at least.

I've loved SM since the Fast Forward/Full Frontal days, but on this i don't agree at all - revising/rewriting/censoring history is NOT what we should be doing. Should we get rid of Heston's Spartacus because it depicts slavery and torture? Get rid of Life of Brian because it makes fun of Big Nose's ? Get rid of Faulty Towers because it makes fun of Hitler? Who should we appoint to revise the past? Do you really want the cancel culture screamers determining what you can and can't watch/listen to/read/talk about? This is just another step down a censorship nightmare rabbithole. What is next? - ban people for Blonde jokes? Politician Jokes? any joke with any nationality? (there goes your Englishman, Scotsman and Irishman jokes) The purpose of comedy is to point out the insult, and laugh about it! If you get rid of any joke or sketch which might have an insult in it, there will not be any left at all.

Yeh let's delete history that makes us uncomfortabe????? Lets forget WW2, the Nazis, concentration camps etc they make people uncomfortable and see how quickly we repeat the same things again, and again

Met the master of Australian comedy in Adelaide , I cooked, his dinner . As a follower of all things funny , being a 4th generation Irish Australian , who can box , I asked Shaun , is Milo making a comeback ? . That was in 2001 . Oh no , he's caused me enough problems. Shaun , Milo is the past , cancel it . You've got three young ones about to get pissed . Kerrigan caused you some problems , ha wait for the phone calls from Yarra CID

Hearing straight white men say, "Well, what would we know?" is like seeing a unicorn. Thanks, Shaun.

What a disgusting thing to say. Why would the merit of a straight white man be less than that of someone else? I'm not a straight white man, but saying things like that just reinforces stereotypes and encourages people to be silent.
