One thing I noticed was that while I was Hanging out with someone, when you go Fishing, you can let the Fish leave without trying to reel it in, and the Character you're hanging out with will _still play the Gaining Friendship animation_ - and the fishing spot will _still be there,_ as you didn't try to catch the fish! No matter how many times you do this, your buddy will still be overjoyed! Don't get _too_ excited though, preliminary testing shows there's a chance that while the animation plays, the character *won't receive any* Friendship Points. I haven't worked it out quite yet, but I figured it's worth mentioning before it gets patched out - even if it's _only a Cosmetic effect!_

there are certain Plants you cant get from goofy that only grow in certain plains I suggest grabbing those and always hoard them and hit every wall rock in the game to farm stones and gems they fetch good price and as he said b4 are important for the story

Also if you have a packed chest full of items and you delete that chest all of the items stay within the chest in your furniture tab and shows up under the storage option, useful for moving chests between different rooms in your house - EDIT - It seems to only work with certain chests like the stater chest in your house

I just started playing this game today because I saw that it was free on Game Pass on the Xbox. I’m enjoying it a lot so far. Definitely plan to buy it for Xbox and probably the switch also. It reminds me of a cross between Animal Crossing and also Stardew Valley (I’ve been playing Stardew valley since it was a beta on pc almost 8 years ago, I absolutely love Stardew valley).

I also started playing it because of Xbox game pass! I love that I can do that sometimes and it was even the month trial for $1, but I've been playing so much of it! It's more than worth it! It also reminded me of Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley and the design aspect of things actually reminds me a lot of the Sims which I love 😂

One more bonus tip hold onto your Dream Shards as they are extremely important at certain times for progression never use them to get Dreamlight its a waste since you will accumulate dreamlight faster than you will get dream shards they can only be gotten from feeding critters and destroying the thorns. Some people have bad luck when it comes to getting them these ways.

Digging shiny holes with a shovel gives you sometimes dream shards, too

Your responses matter. Sometimes the wrong answer shuts down the character chat and you'll have to talk to them again and select a different response to accept a quest or move on

You should eat so you get the yellow stamina bar while exlporing. Makes you run just a bit faster!

about tip 2: actually at some points the answers change the quest dialogs and even what happens... but you still have to craft / bring the same materials. spoiler below: if you accept for example mothers gothels request to spy on Scrooge McDuck you gonna get said to make the tree to get informations from the Scrooge McDuck. if you don't accept Scrooge McDuck will ask you to craft that tree and also place it outside of his house. noone knows why he actually wants it ... the first questline makes way more sense.

I'm enjoying this so far. There are a few glitches, mostly with Scrooge and crafting. You craft something but it doesn't register and complete thar challenge. You have to do it again. Right now I made Scrooge's flowers and pots but even though I have them outside his store the game can't figure that out. So I have to wait until I can go to that section where I can make clay and make the pots. I also experienced a cooking glitch.

I was doing the quest with Wall-E and traded some gems to Scrooge for a fire extinguisher and sadly it’s not in my inventory so I can’t finish the quest to get Wall-E to my valley 😥

I'm sorry. Is this an early access glitch? Your issue plus the other ones. Did you check your inventory? The one where you see all your house decorations, etc. Scrooge's advertise signs and the flower pots magically showed up somewhere there. Hopefully you can try to trade with Scrooge again.

Why am I not loving this game as much as everyone else? I LOVE Disney, and am loving the Disney Characters. While I really like this game I don’t love it. I actually still like ACNH better. Maybe I’m missing something, I want to love this game. I think ACNH burned me out on farming, crafting, and cooking. So, I’m wondering if that’s why I’m not into this game.

Agreed - the developers warned in their Discord that this isn't the intended way to play, and they won't be prioritising fixing the bugs that occur due to time travelling. The bugs may naturally be fixed through their planned patches though, I guess

Abdullah, if you time travel it breaks your game. You won't be able to pick up any over world resources you need like oregano or other stuff. That's what I heard

@@pa5666 Until we as consumers just stop paying for what are essentially lazy rehashes of "(insert game here) 'but with a new hat'!" type releases, NintenD'OH will just keep on shoveling out the half-baked content... Look at Strikers Battle League. It may have very solid basic game play & great graphics, but it was full $$$ for half a game on release. Not quite Mario Golf 'Super Rushed' levels of low effort, but still, rushed out to release just to have something to release. Switch Sports? Bare bones effort, and we're still waiting on the first real expansion for it! Even the new Splatoon 3 is just a polished up Splat 2 DLC with a few new weapons, repetitive story mode stages, updated graphics and a pointless TCG Tetris game bolted on to it for... "reasons?!" Hopefully Nintendo is willing to learn from DLV's success, but overall, it seems like anything outside of a mainline Zelda or Fire Emblem or Pokemon game at this point is being sold purely on it's brand name & fans' nostalgia for the OG titles.

Hey Abdallah and everyone so I have noticed something about DDV with time travel, you can do it but it kinda glitches/locks you a bit. I would have trouble collecting the purple/blue chest for the online event, collecting/picking up, using tools, and from what I've seen at least, it also disconnects you from the cloud so you can't save your game to it but it lets you continue where you were in the game, and it also kinda locks you even if you were to return to the normal date/time, it will let you reconnect but the collecting/picking up glitches are still there. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but ya fair warning.
