when ur transferring the stuff from the demo to the full game does it take from one file? i don't want to have to go through it over but i want the villagers and i'm getting my bravely default today. if i make a new file to get the villagers will i get everything from my completed file as well? or does it all need to be on one file?

Beware, if you save or do something else after you get that villager from the guy, you WILL screw the glitch up and if you want the full 20 villagers, you will have to play back up to that point in the demo, which, keep in mind, is on 2-3 hours, depending on if you grind or not, but still, it is a pain. I know from experience.

No it's not. If you set difficulty to easy mode and speed up all random encounters and use auto battle, you can get to the point where you can do this glitch very quickly (keep in mind it's after beating the Melusine, not the turtle). Restarted the demo and got here in just 35 min ;)

You just need some good jobs and know the battle system well. Not too hard once you know the basics :)

Well, I do now, when I first started I didn't. I will most likely get there faster this time, especially since I know you are supposed to talk to the villagers to do anything but grind.

It has to be from the demo. The villager isn't there in the full version.

+Ace of Shade In the full game, you can just use the "update data" feature to get 1-4 villagers once a day.

The demo villagers will cross over to the game on the same system (it just analyzes the local save file). In addition, if you have a different nintendo ID on each 3DS, you can get an extra villager.

No, the demo clearly states that you can only transfer over 20.

Yes, it's just you can only transfer a max of 20, so the 2 extra just won't be transferred over.

This glitch is pretty cool, but it's just a little annoying that the demo is limited to 30 uses when the bravely second demo is unlimited. Anything else I need to do before importing my save? beating the demo, upgrading stores? anything?

I actually restarted my demo for this glitch XD And just FYI, Abdallah, you can activate this glitch after beating the Melusine, not the Adamantite Shell

Me too, it was not so much of a pain, since i was about to face Adamantoise still. It took me less than an hour to get back to where i was.

Took me only half an hour to get there abusing everything the game had to speed things up :P

sdw4527 haha yes, i started up by choosing easy, then when i needed to fight i turned up the random encounter rate :3 now that i am at the adamantoise battle i changed back to normal difficulty though, easy is just... too easy :P

Yes, it really is XD Though I just put it on easy so I could breeze through the demo again (since I already beat it mostly 100% one time through already haha) And in case you didn't read my comment, you can do the villager trick after you finish the Melusine quest, not the Adamantite Shell like Abdallah said ;)

Haha, nice! I went right to my 3DS and did this :-) I was way passed that point in the demo, but never talked to that guy. So I was able to go from 6 (obtained via street passing) to 20. Nice hint, cheers! -@DontJudgeMyADD
