I really liked how this game gave the perspectives of all the characters. One thing it never addresses is Knuckles’ lineage. Though it’s obvious Knuckles is a distant descendant of Tikal and that ancient tribe, he has no knowledge of Chaos at all. We know this because Knuckles mentions in his monologue that he has been passed down the duty to guard the Master Emerald, but doesn’t know why.

This version added a Mission Mode. Each character has a variety of challenges you can do from little cards scattered around the overworlds. I don’t think I ever completed them all.
