Thank you very much. As an ER health-provider, I had to write some of these down on my notepad, but they really helped me a lot when assessing my patients. Thank you and if you have a chance, please put more up. I enjoy your format and your questions.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you found the video useful. You're right, I should probably make more of these. :) In the meantime, if you'd be interested in a CME course that has lots of similar videos covering different chief complaints / topics, you could check that out here: www.ceme.org/spanish If you don't have the funds right now to register for that I understand, most people are a little hard up at the moment. And I'll see what I can do about making more free videos as well in the near-ish future as well. :)

@@LearnMedicalSpanish thank you, I definitely will check it out. If I register for the class, would I have access to all the material forever? or is it for a certain period of time. Would these course units work towards nursing education credits? Thank you again
@LearnMedicalSpanish4 жыл бұрын
@@airfergz18 Yes, you would have access to the content moving forward, basically forever (however long it's hosted on ceme.org, at least a couple years but probably longer). It's a self-study course so you do it at your own pace. The course provides AMA category 1 CME credit for doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. I believe that would also count for nursing CE's, but I'm not an expert on those requirements, you might have to check with the nursing boards as well.

First one had to be le duele el estomago ?

You are right, that would have been slightly more accurate. :) That and any similar inconsistencies were fixed for the final version of the video that's included in the CME course (Essential EM Spanish).

Great video Ben! Keep up the great work. Do you offer Category 1 CMEs?
@LearnMedicalSpanish11 ай бұрын
Yes! Not for these KZbin videos, but for a course that I sell. You can find the details at www.learnmedicalspanish.org/medical-spanish-cme-emergency/

a health provider should not say panza, it's too casual

Agreed! That was one of the edits before the final version used in the course :)

Pansa?
@ben.tanner4 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was misspelled in this early version of the video, as another commenter also pointed out :-) The final version in the CME course didn't include that word because some people find it insulting.
@carmenfigueroa50902 жыл бұрын
No creo que la palabra pansa sea correcto....lo correcto es estomago
@LearnMedicalSpanish2 жыл бұрын
Si, tiene razón! :) Se entiende pero es demasiado informal. Gracias por el comentario.
@sefghimassi86004 жыл бұрын
You have misspelled the word for belly. It is spelled "panza" and not "pansa". You really need to correct this: you can't teach Spanish with spelling errors.
@ben.tanner4 жыл бұрын
Yup, a couple other commenters noted that previously. :-) Thanks for the heads up though! I didn't notice the spelling error till after I uploaded the video, but I still think it will be useful for some people. FYI, a slightly more polished version was used in the Essential EM Spanish course.
