The fate of Mrs Blinn and her son was very sad and compelling. She was so close to being rescued. Too bad Custer couldn't save her and Willie. A really unforgettable story. Thank you for telling it.

You’re right, it is an unforgettable story. I was very moved by it and honestly I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I visited the cemetery. I just cannot imagine how she dealt with that.
