放送時間に合わせて決着つける、馬場さん、ブッチャー、ジョーさんの名人系。 ブッチャーは本当に馬場さんと手が合った。同様にシンは猪木さんと。 ブッチャー引き抜きに馬場さんが怒って、シンやハンセンまで引き抜いたのは、ブッチャーが新日にあっていなく、全日潰しを新間さんが画策していた事をわかったから。ブッチャーの新日でのインパクトは谷津さんのデビュー戦だけ。途中からタイガーマスクや維新革命が中心になり、すっかり傍に。徳島の対猪木戦で、猪木さんに潰されるような試合をされてしまった。 一旦新日で、ロートル扱いにされたブッチャーが全日に戻り、輪島さんなどとの試合で生き返った。 どちらか強い弱いでなく、ブッチャーは全日向き。 そしてシンは新日向きでした。 デビュー当時は力だけの木偶の坊と評価されたハンセンが両方で活躍出来たのは、猪木さんとの試合を通して、試合巧者になっていったのだと推察。

Poor Baba.... gigantism was horrible. The American wrestlers loved working for him in Japan as he treated them like kings with great lodging and food. He understood the value of that in business. In the ring, let's face it, he was awful. Possibly the "softest" worker ever and it showed every time. he barely touched his "opponent".
