My friend's Son was killed in Afghanistan So they never got to see him on duty again. It's moments like these families treasure. You are extremely rude. Do you realise what these families go through? The thought of their Son or Daughter will never be coming back. Think about it

Maybe a coincidence BUT I noticed that the horse kept giving the occasional glance back at the family when and after the mounted guard was chatting with the Captain @ 8:50 making me wonder if it sensed the family connection with it's mounted guard and was taking an interest. I like to think so anyways... After all, animals are no fools!!

What a special guard, and his family has to be so proud! I love his horse too. So gentle. I do see on other channels where Americans, im American, get so upset where they get badly bitten. It clearly states to beware of the horse, and not to touch the reins. Its not just Americans, it's people from other countries as well. You need to respect the horse, the guards, and the rules and laws of the country to which you are visiting ! Such a great video! ❤❤❤

So great the Guard had visit from his family and could spent time with them. Also you could notice a portion of the conversation that the Guard had with his Captain, you would even notice the way the Guard is talking is very well educated and with much respect, those guards could be excellent role-models for the youth during these times that the new generation needs so much good examples.

1. Magnificent horse and excellent rider. They make a good pair. 2. As the captain proves, you don't have to be a hard ass to be a leader. A little kindness goes a long way. 3. I'm always surprised at how many people are terrified of the horse, but still want the picture 😆 I served in the US cavalry way back in the 80s. Unfortunately I'm allergic to horses so my spot at Fiddler's Green will be in the track park around back where I'll probably spend eternity cleaning oil stains off the motor pool concrete.

I love that you can see the guards' cheeks crinkle with a smile for his family. Why does no one stop and thank the guard for his service? Everyone talks to the horse, but not the guard. I find that very rude. When touring the White House, we stopped and thanked the Marines and secret service.
