He actually is a little better with horse people because I walked up to him when I made my trip there and as I see his ears pinned down and he nearly did I gently tell him "ah ah no bite! No bite! Easy Boy!" Then he started respecting me. He figured I was a horse person with Autism and that I'm around them very often. And of course I have horses myself and can have a deep connection with any of them I even had connections with wild stallions too. Only takes an experienced horse person to not get bit and get a better reaction than that and of course I approached him calmly. Them tourists rush in to him and when I made the little clicking sound he remained calm and immediately knew on the second or third day throughout the trip that I was a good human bring towards him gave him treats and snacks and he was chill with me. I miss interacting with that horse I was literally 20 and here I am at 26 still having horses. Can't live without them.

Ormonde’s ears have been back when he’s been aggressive, and that’s a warning sign for many species. He’s obviously defending his space, but I think he’s actually defending the space for.his rider. He acts more like a stallion than a gelding and his role historically would have been defending the mares, constantly checking the wind for potential alien scents along the perimeter. He’s clearly intelligent enough to recognize his current role and has enough, you know, to meet the challenge. Ormonde really represents the nobility and purpose this group of horses took on in the face of war, a normally gentle species galloping fearlessly into battle, when asked. They’re not about to back off from a bunch of brainless tourists… Sorry for the length. I realize that, back in the day, the initial restrictions to a limited number of characters, forced by early technology, has reshaped how we all, myself included, react to lengthy posts-by ignoring them.
