I'm not even from the UK, I'm an Army Veteran, and I want to yell at these rude people so badly. These horses are NOT pets, they're part of the Queen's guard, equal to a K-9 cop here in America. They're essentially petting a soldier on duty. Their human guard partners have the patience of a saint to not tell them to piss off. On top of that, every time someone come up and touches the horses, they're distracting the guard from his job, having to make sure they don't grab the horse's reins or bridle.

I've said the same thing. But without the military classification specifics. I have stated that these are NOT pets, they are the equivalent of a soldier. They are highly trained warhorses. Just like a K- 9 Unit is considered an officer. Would they walk up to a police dog & try to engage it in a game of fetch? Probably not, but with these crowds, who knows? I don't know why, this is just not common sense.

I absolutely love this video. My favorite starts around 9:45 with a little girl who has her hand IN the horse's mouth while the horse gently nibbles on it! Next woman is bitten within TWO or THREE SECONDS of moving close. Horse knew the difference! Most animals seem to have a 6th sense, ESP, or something about people. I found out decades ago if I thought something like "Come here" while looking at a dolphin or fish, they would swim over to me. Tested it at aquariums in Chicago, New Orleans, and Tampa. Probably 90% visited me. Zoo animals didn't, only swimmers. LOL Check out 'animals interacting with humans at zoos and aquariums' or some such for many fun videos.

I watched one video where a tourist got too close and Arnie casually stomped his hoof onto his foot then looked the other way as if he’d no idea why he was yelling. That was one occasion where the guard couldn’t resist a grin. Hope he’s feeling better cos in a recent video he started weaving to let his rider know there was something wrong and he picked up the message straight away and took him straight back to the stables. I know those horses get the very best of care so I hope Arnie has fully recovered.

I appreciate the guards as they work and the incredible training that must happen for those horses to be in service. I don’t believe the people that come to visit realize what is actually happening. It seems that people just don’t really get what’s going on with these guards and their roles as military men and women. God bless, all of the men and women across the world in military service

Many animals don’t like goose down filled or fur or puffy items. Also, these are very intelligent creatures and can feel a person.

They certainly are patient horses.

I think the horse hates puffy coats! I'd love to send these guys a CRATE OF APPLES. @11...I love how he stands all placid and sleepy, luring them in for the bite! But really they're just messing around. If they were serious biters, there would be blood. Thank you Buska for this great compilation.

De guard met de snor en dit paard. Geweldig om te zien❤. Ze staan er zo statig bij. En ondertussen is niks wat het lijkt. Toeristen krijgen een bijt😂😂😂😂😂

When a horse's ears are laid back on its head, that's a warning sign. It means "leave me alone....or else!". I know this from the horses I've been around for years.🐴

It's interesting to see the horse's response to the woman with the yellow bag at 10:15. She approached him in a non-threatening way, gave him a few scritches, and then went on her way. Either she is a horsewoman or she instinctively made all the right moves.

Yes, he was enjoying that head rub. She definitely approached the right way.

2:08 this is what we mean when we talk about a horse pinning his ears back. People often confuse a horse who has his ears POINTED to the back with PINNED ears. In the first case, a horse is attentive to the sounds behind him. Usually when they are dozing of a bit. Theirs eyes will keep track of what happens around them, and the ears will cover their blind spot...behind them. But when a horse pins his ears back, they lay way more flat on its head and neck. After that will come a bite or kick. And believe me, the bites in the video are still even considered 'nips' or warning bites in a horses vocabulary. 'I told you to back of' And if that last warning is ignored, a horse will attack.
