It's not just this venue, though I'd like to know myself. My husband and I used to travel the world with our small children, many years ago. Our kids were SUPER well -behaved. My husband and I used to comment on the fact that, no matter where in the world we ran across the children of the Hasidim, they were horrendously behaved and were driving everyone they came across absolutely nuts with their awful behavior. What we see in these videos is nothing, compared to dealing with it in person and especially in airports!! Just horrible!!

The guards are working. They have set routes that they walk, whether tourists are present or not. They are on guard duty and are not there to be photographed. These are actively working military on the job, not playing soldier . Deserving respect.

Those initials are probably many years old, and carved in the days when the soldiers were on duty 24 hours a day. Unlike today where the household cavalry only mount guard between 10am and 4pm. Unlike the footguards ( red tunics black bearskins ) who stag on 24 hours a day to this day at their places of duty.

probably stands for the Grenadier Guards - it looks like an 8, not B as there are also other letters/numbers above but faint - abbreviations were used during WW1 to designate different military barracks and which military units were stationed there - they are also a part of the Household Division stretching back over 360 years since 1656 when a Royal Regiment of Guards was formed by King Charles II at Bruges in Flanders.
