Hello from Australia - Thank you to the guard for acknowledging the Australian soldier on Anzac Day. Good on Arnie it's not a petting zoo, it's good see who's in charge
@janetlambert4396Ай бұрын
They should teach all the horses how to bite when crowded.

That soldier must have been there for ANZAC day.

Good to see the Life Guards letting Radan do her thing😅 The Blues have Ormonde on a tight rein atm 😢

Thats too bad about Ormonde being held back from what we all love about him. 😢😭

What's next, tourons counting coup because they deliberately stood in the horse's personal space crowding it to provoke a head butt from the horse? Are you kidding me?! Pathetic.

This is not the same Arnie that was taken back inside because she was not well 9 months ago. That one labelled NOT WELL King's Horse (ARNIE) Immediately Taken Back Inside was completely black ( no white foot). Haven’t seen her since so hope she’s ok. Her real name is Radan.
@pamelacurran7170Ай бұрын
I think the original Arnie had colic and had passed away. My cousin who is a soldier in the british army says that once a calvery horse passes the name and number become available for a new horse. Maybe because this horse bites it was probably named in honour of Arnie.
@BetFarmer-te2lfАй бұрын
No it isn’t, Arnie has no identifying marks at all.

All the Blues & Royals/Life Guards should allow their horses to nip, nudge, bite, when brain dead tourists invade their space. Anyone who can't see a uniformed officer tending to a guard, deserves to have that officers back in their photo too. The veteran gets a pass, as he was patting the horse's nose, and wasn't taking forever to get a pic.

I'm curious: I don't know too much, but I'm trying to learn. Can somebody know which is the oldest horse that is still "working" as a kings horse?
@pamelacurran7170Ай бұрын
Up until last month Harvester was the oldest working horse at age 23. He happily is now enjoying retirement at the Horses Trust Sanctuary with a few other calvery and police horse friends who retired along with him.

Isn't the horse at left named Rarden, named as in the autocannon? Don't understand why she is being referred to as Arnie by everyone. 5:03 The lady and guard were having a conversation re the horses that were hurt. Thanks Abdullah. kiwi 😀

@leximarie3808Ай бұрын
It's what stupid people do! All the adult tourists behave like absolute idiots. Posing, crowding, mauling the horses....it's disgusting and shouldn't be allowed.
